CRESSIF1, White [Duplicate]

I have 2 of these masks for my kids to use when we snorkel and dive. Initially we found one at the bottom of the reef we were snorkeling and after my daughter tried it we were sold. Since then we purchased one for each kid. Both kids say they are comfortable and the wear it for hours of snorkeling. No complaints of leaking or discomfort. I love that you can get different colors to match a snorkel/fin set to. We've had these masks for the past 4 years and they still look near new. No signs of wear at all... we do take care of them by rinsing in fresh water after saltwater or chlorine pool use but other than that they are left around by the kids and have held up well. As for fit... these would be great for a petite slim faced adult. I have a narrow face and it fits all but my nose but if you have a smaller nose it might work fine. My 14 yo daughter is petite and also has a narrow face and it fits perfect. She's been wearing the same mask for the past 4 years. My youngest daughter is 11 with a rounder face and she's also been wearing the same mask for the past 3 years. Great kid mask or petite adult.

I am an experienced scuba diver but I bought these to play around with in my pool. I was very pleased with this mask. I own and have used Frameless masks that cost 10x this one for scuba diving and this mask gets darn close to those. Fit is everything so regardless of how good a mask is, it will only perform as good as its fit so keep that in mind. The issue with fogging is also rather universal and proper fog treatment and maintenance works on this mask like it does on the more expensive ones. For the price I would recommend this mark to anyone snorkeling or going on vacation and just want a great mask for a low price and by by no means does this feel like a cheap mask either. Again, put this side by side to professional scuba frameless masks and the average person will have a very hard time telling which one worth $300 and which one $30.I don’t think I’d scuba dive with these though. Simply for the fact that I already own some tried and true masks but I would definitely dive with this as a backup.

When I got it and saw it was made in Taiwan compared to the "cressi alpha ultra dry snorkel" which is made in Italy I was a bit upset. BUT the build quality is far better than the Italian made snorkel I got and even tough it looks somewhat small (maybe of my fat face) the fit is perfect. I don't have to tighten the strip to get a good seal which it important and makes it really comfortable to wear. So this is a good buy and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I took this mask to Mexico for both snorkeling and scuba diving.It was ok when I used it for snorkeling, but it leaks crazily when I was scuba diving (~50 feet under water). It kept leaking the entire time when I was diving and really gave me a sub-optimal diving experience. I ended up switching to a different mask on my second dive. Btw I'm an Asian woman with lower nose, the mask does not fit my face shape; it leaks under my nose and kept slipping up during my dive. I got my husband a different model of Cressi (Matrix) and it also leaks underwater, although he's white with a higher nose.It also has a very thick "new mask coat" on the lens that makes it fog easily. I have to burn it with a lighter 3 times before applying defogging solutions.I wouldn't recommend it for scuba diving. I wish I have bought TUSA or other brands' masks instead. If you are planning to use it for snorkeling and are willing to burn it 3 times before using, this may work for you.

Great mask!Super comfortable and affordable!Love the wide FOV and easy adjustable straps.I put 8 dives on it so far and no issues.They did fog up alot, but skip the abrasive cleaner. Simply take 30 seconds and put a lighter to the tempered glass, burn off tge film, wipe off the soot from the lighter, add defog if you're bougie or toothpaste/spit and go diving!...

Great mask for my wife. She has a small, roundish face and it fit her well. It even fit me well and I have a long, thin face. By fit, I mean it will stick to my face with suction only, no strap. The skirt is soft and comfortable and it seals well. The view is great because the glass is so clear and the field of view is wide with the glass sitting close to your face. The strap is very easy to adjust with the very nice clamps. I also installed the cressi neoprene strap cover so it wouldn't pull her hair. I would highly recommend purchasing that extra thing for the girls. I got this mask in white with a pink strap cover and wow, it looked so nice on her. She stood out among all of the people around us because her set up just looked so nice. It looked like she spent way more than we actually did. I would absolutely recommend this one and would purchase it again in a heartbeat. The mask is not perfect though, so I'll leave the slight cons below.Cons-Fog was a slight problem, even after cleaning with degreaser, scrubbing with toothpaste and spraying with anti fog "spit". I've seen much worse though. Slight problem.On my face, the glass was a little too close. It pushed against my forehead right above my nose. It didn't do this to my wife though. If I would have had to snorkel with these for long periods of time, it could have been annoying, but I just tested them out for a few minutes and it wasn't all that uncomfortable. Just noticeable.

I use this for pool swimming. And I swim a lot (several miles a week) and this gets a lot of use. I absolutely love it. I love the cool white which hasn’t yellowed. The only thing is the inside gets smudgey from my face (too vain to say dirty), which puzzles me because my face isn’t smudgey…. Lol
