Works perfectly with the Baofeng K5 Plus radio!
This cable worked perfectly with my Baofeng K5 plus radio. Even though it came with a mini CD for the drivers, my Windows 11 Home machine detected it perfectly so no need to load any drivers. Programmed my radio with Chirp and was very pleased with the flawless results.

Works perfectly!
Nice quality cable and works well. Ordered it for my Quansheng radio and was quickly able to program it. Fast and a good value! Just be aware that you have to press it in very hard for it to seat all the way.

Works perfectly
No instructions and the included disc was no help being in chinese. Luckily, there was a short period for the computer to setup a driver and recognize the drive/port on Windows 10. No issues since. It works. Good quality and value.

Good buy
These cables can be picky for which model they work for. Works great, better than the one included with the radio.

Works great for UV-21 Pro V2
It works! Did not need to download any drivers, just plugged into usb port, opened chirp and followed instructions. Was able to download, program, and upload in a few minutes. Make sure the prongs are plugged all the way into the radio first. For the UV-21 Pro V2, use the UV-17R preset in Chirp, works great.

Works perfectly on Linux with one tweak
I'm adding a little technical jargon to make this searchable for others in my situation. I'm running Pop_OS and in `dmesg` I would see the device show up, then see `usbfs: interface 0 claimed by ch341 while 'brltty' sets config #1`, and then the device would disconnect. The fix to this was to uninstall brltty, which is a screen reader accessibility program. So if you need brltty, you probably can't use this cable easily with Linux.
