I installed on golf cart, screwed them to underside of body, wired in series connected to 12v power supply and grounded on frame. Do not connect directly to battery unless you which one to connect to as this can cause damage.

Do you have to use stranded wire or can I use solid copper?

I just used solid wire But the lights are not very bright. Maybe try the copper. But I’m not to happy with my purchase

Are these bright enough to use for night fishing combo white and blue and would i have to connect all for them to work?

No. Not that bright. More like mood lights in boat. Yes hook them all together works fine.
