Moodies Rainbow 6 Pack of Colorful, Heat-Safe Silicone Light Bulb Cover for Decorating

So simple and does exactly what it's name suggests. I initially thought of just using them to create mood lighting for when guests came over, but liked the effect the Moodies created so much that they are now a permanent fixture on the lights over my bed, in the kitchen, and in the living room. My place has a much nicer ambiance as a result. They are also very easy to switch, so I can really take advantage of all the different colors, rotating them, depending on my current mood. In short, a simple, effective, and fantastic product.Definitely worth recommending!

Some colors are nice and vibrant, others look very pale. Was disappointed a few of the colors faded after being outside for only a month. Didn’t expect them to fade quite that fast... will probably just end up buying some dedicated LED bulbs at some point to replace these.

I didn't expect such a drastic color change. The idea thing I was looking for was a "warm glow" (possibly a pinkish or amber color to tone down the whiteness of the LED bulbs) but I got a "fun house" effect. Sorry, not happy. My advice is to make them more translucent and more flattering colors. NO ONE wants to see themselves in purple, green or blue tones on their skin...at least it's not my idea of my best look...Just my thoughts.

These didn't fit nicely over my bulbs, but then again I wasn't sure which ones I had in my apartment. So that's my bad, but I really needed these for a project. Since they were probably not for these lights the silicone got very hot to the touch.The colors that shined through were close to what the actual silicone color is. I will say that the amount of light that shines through is weaker since these are a dense silicone, but it was so cool.I used these in a creepy scene/set and it gave off good light for people to walk through the room. Essentially I will need more time with these to get a better idea.I would recommend getting these rainbow ones if you're unsure about how each color will actually look once applied to your bulb. (Ex. Light green vs. dark green)If you are looking for a brighter solution perhaps getting an LED remote bulb, like I considered, is for you. You can change colors with a push of a button.

Awesome and fun product...a genius idea I kinda wish I'd thought of myself! The sleeves are silicone and could not be easier to put on and take off. Much easier to store than the old-fashioned colored bulbs too. Also, I didn't see any of the reviewers mention that they were sent free samples for review, and I wasn't either. I have tried such products before and have never been duly impressed...in fact, I now avoid stuff like that. I saw these in Real Simple magazine, ordered them off Amazon 'cause that was the cheapest option, and am very happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend 'em.

Perfect!!! Such a clever idea. I'm blown away by the simplicity and effectiveness. I got them yesterday and put them on several bulbs around the house and created a different mood in every room. They slide on the bulb like a sock and that's it. I checked on them several times to make sure it didn't melt and even left one on until this morning with no problem. I always wanted to try the colored bulbs and LED lights but they are pricy. Besides, you don't want that all the time so these moodies get the job done with no hassle and I can try different colors wherever and whenever I want.

Lowkey not worth it. Just get color changing light bulbs. These things are plastic and when you leave them on a light bulb, it gets really hot and starts to smell concerning.

We used to to use the regular incandescent 25w colored party bulbs and they used to burn out all the time and the color coating would crack giving off weird patterns on the inside of the globes.I saw this product and figured I'd give them a shot. Installed them and they are SO much brighter and vibrant; the coloring is even (without the cracks you'd get with incandescent bulbs). We've only had them in a couple of days, but so far I really like them. In the attached photo we kept a couple of the party bulbs in place to see the difference (and to use them up).The only question is going to be how well the Moodies and the fluorescent bulbs work when it's -20f (-28.89c) this winter. Using these on fluorescent bulbs should also lower the electricity usage (which becomes an issue when you have that many bulbs on at the same time).PS. Yes, we have parking meters in our driveway. They were free and we installed them as a joke.PSS. It's not easy taking a photo of these to show how well they really work. Trust me though...they work great
