Is this a good buy are the tool good?

Absolutely fantastic tools. The motorized ratchet is just the best. Not sure how I coped before I had it.

Can it break loose bolts?

It is a good kit for the "home owner who is putting together a bicycle or some other light duty job" its not very powerful for real mechanic use, so the impact wrench probably will not loosen rusted or really stuck bolts or nuts.

Am will pleased with how it works when the battery is fully ...

Bought this for work, auto mechanic. Am will pleased with how it works when the battery is fully charged. Disappointed in battery performance normal use have to change out battery twice a day. Makita set these replaced would last all day with the same use. other than that set works great.

UPDATED REVIEW

Update: I've had this set for over 5 yrs. The issue I'm having now is not finding replacement battery for it. If batteries where available 5 stars all day. But seeing rhat batteries are hard to find it gets 3 stars nowI bought this kit to help me with a restoration I'm doing (1970 El Camino) I needed to remove the entire front end, it worked like a champ. In 1 hour I had the entire front end removed and taken apart. I used we 40 and the impact rafchet and it worked better than I expected. Only thing I don't like is that replacement batteries are $50.

Batteries are terrible

At first I thought this was a good set of tools, but these batteries are terrible and do not last even through a small project... I missed my window for returns because my 14yr old didnt tell me they were not working properly until now... So i had to check for myself thinking maybe he wasnt charging them correctly... but sure enough he was. Now that I am stuck with them ill have to find something to do with them

Great set for home or work for the price

I'm a heavy line dealer tech, this set works great for the money, been using it everyday for about 3 months.. about 1/4 the price of Milwaukee, I used the power ratchet for 8+ hours the other day and the battery died, still had extra battery. The ratchet don't break loose bolts but the ratchets body is durable enough to break it by hand. The light sucks but everything else works great. You won't be disappointed, Great tool set, can't beat the price...
