Excellent Power and Battery Life but Get a Shoulder Strap for Comfort
I picked up this Greenworks combo kit during a big sale and could not be happier with the performance. The string trimmer is strong enough to handle thick grass and edges cleanly, and the blower easily moves leaves and debris without needing multiple passes. Both tools feel powerful and well built. The battery is a big win. The 60V 4.0 Ah battery lasts a long time. I trimmed and used the blower across my yard without needing to recharge. That kind of run time makes yard work much easier. One thing to mention, while the tools work great, they do feel a bit heavy after a while, especially the trimmer. If you are planning to use it for extended periods, I recommend picking up a shoulder strap. It helps a lot with back strain and makes the whole experience more comfortable.Overall, I am very happy with this combo. It is a solid choice if you want power, cordless convenience, and long battery life. Just be ready to add a strap for those longer sessions.

Excellent lightweight weed wacker
I love, love, LOVE this weed wacker! It's lightweight, battery charges fast, lasts about as long as I do, and it'll cut through anything reasonable (don't try to cut trees with it, get the chain saw for those).I'm hoping to have a long and lasting relationship with this lovely yard tool. Excellent for edging, ditches, along the fence, etc.It turns off if it gets clogged up, remove the offending weed & off you go again! No long repairs or swearing. No stinky gas.It is a tiny bit tall for me, but I'm short, so Short People Problems.TBH I haven't used the blower yet.

Works pretty good
This set works pretty good. I have a really small yard, so I switched to these battery tools instead of having to buy and store fuel.Battery - So far I have been able to use both on one battery charge without any degradation of power. My only gripe with the battery is sometimes charger acts like it's not charging. But when I check the battery, it seems fine. I have to unplug/replug the charger, then it acts right.Trimmer - Lightweight. Came with 2 spools, so that'll be nice if I run out of string in the middle of trimming, can just switch it out. Sometimes the line doesn't feed on the bump. Otherwise, it works great for me.Blower - Here is where they lose a star. It's not as powerful as I would like. I doubt it's 110mph like the specs say. It's slower than my electric which is rated at 90mph. Definitely not as powerful as the electric one that I'm replacing. But the advantage here is no cord. So I can live with it.Overall a good value and just what i need for my small yard.

“Powerful Weed Eater, But Heavy Battery: Stick with the 20 or 40 for Smaller Users”
I recently purchased this weed eater, and it performs impressively. It powers through thick grass and weeds effortlessly, and the battery-operated design is convenient and easy to use for most yard tasks. However, the battery is a significant drawback—it’s very heavy. At 5’2” and 125 pounds, I found it tiring to handle for long periods, as the weight throws off the balance. For someone my size, I’d recommend going with the 20 or 40 model, which likely have lighter batteries for better maneuverability.Overall, it’s a great weed eater for the price, but picking the right model is key for comfort, especially for smaller users.

Much Easier than Messy with Gasoline
I'm happy that I got this Greenworks PRO 16 in. 60V Battery Cordless Attachment Capable String Trimmer with 4.0 Ah Battery. I already had a 2 Ah battery from a blower. This is so much easier than messing with gas. The ICE trimmers are powerful, but what I remember most is those few days when I wore my arm out trying to get it started, or the 20 minutes having to baby it until it would cut. NO MORE! This powerful trimmer has bump line advance, 2 speeds with trigger control of each speed from slow to fast, and a great shoulder strap that you will need because of the weight. This trimmer has a long reach, and can be set either for 14" cut or 16" cut. The battery lasts longer on the 14" cut, so that's all I used so far.The 4 Ah battery is heavy. This trimmer with battery weighs more than my gas trimmer. This is a pro model. It is not for my 100 lb wife. She can't handle the weight or length, even with the strap. That isn't a negative. Greenworks has many trimmer available in smaller weights and lengths. If I want one for my wife, I'll get one of those. This trimmer is powerful. I like the way you can check battery status by pushing a button. One great feature is the variable speed controlled by the trigger. When trimming near a fence or wall, it's easy to run at slow speed which cuts the weeds but doesn't tear up the wall or string on the chain link fence. I've used it on both speeds, high and low. Low speed gives the longest battery life. I'm able to trim all but the toughest weeds and small branches on low speed. I get at least an hour of use on one battery charge by using low speed about 99% of the time. I'll change it to 16" when I do the larger hillside for better coverage. Overall, it is sturdy, easy to use, has great reach, is much quieter than gasoline, and has easy bump line advance. Highly recommended if you have a lot of grassy area to trim.
