Works better with my .22. Air rifle
A great little plinking target. I shoot at 20-30 yards and it has held up well. My daisy 880 has no issue with the initial knock down target, but struggles a bit with the reset at a little under 20 yards. Loosening the bolt a bit so that it moves loosely is recommended for lower powered air rifles. My .22 Umarex had no issue at all resetting it at 20-30 yards. I had to tighten the bolt back up a bit as the force from my more powerful .22 actually caused the swing mechanism to slip and it works perfect now. I now use it primarily for plinking with my .22 and it works fantastic.

Fun and holding up great..I have 6 of these and they get wounded several days a week.
Holding up after thousands of shots..177, .22, .25 cal air guns from 20 to 50 yards. The paint on the paddles didn't last long but they're easy to repaint and not get over spray on the target.Everyone likes shooting them.

Durable
This is a great target. You set it and then fire the pellet at it and instead of resetting it: we just fired at the release and it would reset itself. We purchased this target about two years ago and I’m just now doing a review because there is no way I can give a valid review without trying it out for a while. This target is made out of heavy steel too and will hold up. BB Gun or pellet guns; nothing of a higher caliber or it could damage it. I highly recommend it and it will provide great practice on shooting

Take note if .22 be accurate
This thing is pretty awesome, all in all I give it a 4.i would award it a 5 but. It says it's rated up to 22 and while it yea can handle hits from the 22 it does start to warp and take accumulated damage. I've put about 50 or so .22 pellets onto it and it shoes a noticeable bend under the top target where I hit low. The one other thing I would note is the but for the target mechanism gets loose from the action of the targets being reset. If you tighten the nut be careful of over tightening. As if you do direct hits won't even move the target. In summary worth it , however if you have a higher end .22 might wanna consider another target and or buy more than 1 real fun to shoot at tho

Works perfectly
Small target drops if hit and reset works perfectly. Good sound from metal when struck

Endless fun!
My son and I love to shoot and this target is a blast! Yes, it's just a couple chucks of metal in the shape of a squirrel...but it's a challenge at 25 yards to hit the kill zone and the reset plate for my boy and he is learning valuable lessons in shot placement, breathing techniques, and windage. Shooting paper isn't very fun because it lacks any responsiveness to the shooter. When you hit the squirrel target you get a very satisfying DING! I as a veteran love shooting this target for that very reason. The quality is spot on too. Thick enough metal that you aren't going to damage it using a 177 or 22cal break barrel or entry level PCP such as the Urban. The paint is thick but will eventually need to be replaced, but that is to be expected. 100% recommend to all airgunners looking for a great way to practice that is more entertaining that punching holes in cardboard and paper targets.

great outdoor targets!
These are great self resetting targets for outdoor fun!The only thing is that you need a higher powered air gun or air rifle to reset the target. I have a crossman air revolver which actually can reset the target even though it only shoots about 430FPS. It however shoots pellets and has quite a kick to it when first firing. I think the first shots are much more high powered than say after about 10 shots so I can reset the target on fresh CO2 using pellets. BB's on the other hand plink the targets just fine however we have not been able to make the target fall with BB's nor are we able to reset it with BB's. Only pellets have worked. With that in mind it is still a fun target to hit because of the satisfying plinking sounds! The picture shows two wing nuts holding the base spike to the squirrel although I can confirm as another reviewer did that these only have ONE wing nut. This does not affect its sturdiness for me.

ok but not for 17mm
don't be like me, shoot this thing with a 17mm and expect it to stay intact.lol My 17mm cut through this thing like a hot knife through butter.for a 22 or pellet shooting, I imagine this is a great little target, but don't shoot it with anything faster/larger.
