Short answer is yes a little to about 30 degrees with a lot of pressure.

Shorter ones are 8" long, tallest about 10.5". Narrowest is 1" wide (the one shaped like a butter knife), widest is 2.25". These are great, I love them.

Is this spatula thin enough, but also strong enough to use to loosen bread from a pan?

These are very sturdy Spatulas...they are not that wide. You can see them in the photo and they arrive exactly as the photo. If you are thinking of using either one as a pie/cake server then no....but to get something out of a pan...they will work.
