Many uses. Works well.
I purchased this because it supposedly removes toxins when consumed, but I’ve tried it a few other ways. I’ve found certain uses work better for me (#2 &3), so overall am happy with the versatility and “results”.1. Drinking on an empty stomach. I mixed it with water and drank it first thing in the morning (didn’t eat for 1-2 hours after). Did this about 1-2x a week for about a month, but didn’t notice much difference.2. Applying topically to remove oils. Mixing with a dash of water and using as a body scrub or mask helped remove oil/sweat. Downside is getting it fully removed requires attention to detail, but toner or rubbing alcohol help.3. Consuming after food intolerances. I read charcoal was commonly used in hospitals to help with poisonings. There were two instances where I ate something that upset my stomach (likely allergic reaction), and 30 mins after drinking a dash of this with water, I felt significantly better. (I’m not a doctor)4. Teeth whitening. Used once and helped remove stains, but supposedly it can strip the enamel since it’s abrasive. It has a weird texture if you consume it, but you only need a small amount. Be sure to rinse the glass right after since it stains (and didn’t come out in the dishwasher).

Tasteless
This product is 100 percent tasteless. I drank it in water. It has a tiny grit but super fine. It is not difficult to drink at all. (Granted don’t over do it with the ratio of liquid and charcoal.) I brushed my teeth with it about 3-4 times. My mouth felt really clean and it did seem to whiten my teeth a little after just a few uses. The grit is so fine (much more than baking soda—so I recommend over that) I did not feel I was damaging my enamel. I do advise caution not to use daily for too long since I have concerns this could draw out calcium from your teeth as it has a magnetic (adsorption) quality. I am not qualified to say either way, but I would play it safe. Same holds for its use internally. Do your research on activated charcoal.

Dyed choux paste
Used to make black choux buns for a croquembouche. The colour was perfect. The buns came out really well. Did not affect texture, rise or flavour.

Great product I expect great many more uses.
I read of the numerous benefits of this product. I will be using it for a skin thing my son has.I have used it as a tooth powder, boy this stuff make a huge difference in my eldest childs teeth. The youngest child had these adorable pearly whites and my oldest had these tented teeth that did not appear to be stained but were for sure not white. The dentists explanation was that younger children have more enamel and teeth are not naturally white, "Blah blah blah. ""Guess, what this activated charcoal made the dentist a super lie!" Baby boys teeth are white and almost as white as mine. As far as teeth go this stuff is great in my book. I love how the charcoal coats the teeth and makes brushing tremendously more thorough as well. Because, my children are able to visually, see what spots if any that have been neglected (in my eldest case he had an entire top row of teeth that were untouched). I was able to visually point it out, and it makes for a better out come.I don't think this will be an every day regimen, but I stand by the product thus far.
