I have use this product for over a year now and it's amazing! I was using a liquid silica product which was super expensive that worked very well, when I switched to bulk supplements bamboo. This product works really well. My hair grows so long that I have to get 8 inches cut off at a time. I take along with bulksupplements collagen and that stops my hair loss completely. My fingernails are long and strong and have never been my entire life, before this. The biggest and most exciting change is that I have far less pain with lupus and arthritis. I am a 60 year old female. I ran out of this at one point and thought that maybe I didn't need it because I take a lot of vitamins but boy was that a mistake. I noticed not only problems with my hair and fingernails but my skin breaks out a lot more - even at my age when I don't use this product. I started on it again and my hair quit falling out and my fingernail started to grow within a week. I only take once a day.

I have been reading about Bamboo Extract Powder and how wonderful it is for your skin, hair and nails. So, I set out to find out more. I found Bamboo Powder for around $20.00 per OZ! Sometimes higher. Then I saw Bulksupplements Bamboo Extract Powder and decided "Why not"??? So glad I did. I put the weight into a site that changes Grams to Ounces, and saw the bargain! I could have 8.8(plus) ounces for a great price. $20.00 per ounce? It worked out to a BARGAN. I received it FAST, Amazon Prime rocks at that ... and I was surprised and amazed at what it did for my skin. I used it topically. Just 2 pinches (what I got will last forever!!!) with my normal cleansing routine, a liquid cleanser, and it not only enhanced my regular cleanser, it tightened my skin! Plus it had a brightening effect. I fell in love, especially when my hubby noticed that my neck looked better! I use it all over my body now. Soft, smooth skin, instead of the dry desert skin old ladies are known to have. LOVE THIS... they have so man products, and I make my own cosmetics, using some of the same powders they sell. Less expensive, and if all of the products meet up to the expectations I have, they have a customer for life.

I've bought this product in the past. It was tan in color and had a malty taste. It worked wonderfully. My hair stopped falling out and actually started growing back. I also noticed improvements in my joints. However, when I re-ordered the product (17.6 ounces @ $25+), the product had changed from tan with malt flavor to white and tasteless. I contacted them to be sure it was silica they had sent and was not a mistake. They assured me it was the correct product.After about 2 months of use, I noticed that my hair was falling out again and getting thinner. After 8 months my hair is back to what it was before using. Fortunately, I had some of the old product left and began using it. I have already noticed less hair loss after 1 month.I contacted them again and they were very defensive that their product goes though testing. Bottom line is that they only refund before 30 days which is not enough time to evaluate the results of use. Silica takes several months of use before you can really see regrowth of hair.Also note: this product contains Maltodextrin (Maltodextrin can cause allergic reactions, including rash or skin irritation, asthma, and difficulty breathing and affect blood sugar, and can affect the balance of gut bacteria)I am now left with about 3/4 of a bag.

There is a lot of doses in this bag. From what I've read, bamboo has a higher amount of silicone than anything else. This highly bioavailable silicone is good for skin, hair, nails, joints, bones, practically the whole body. Most people don't get enough. I've put this in smoothies, in very thin liquids in a stirrer, and in capsules. It has a natural very lightly sweet flavor. It's a light brown, super fine powder. It's so fine, I can actually use a pipette to suck it up and put it in capsules that way. Even using this several times a day, it will last me a long time. I'll definitely order more of this when I get low.

I like this supplement and use it for hair,skin and mix with tea. I like how after applying this to my skin it feels soft and hydrated. You can add this to shampoos or conditioners to boost volume to your hair .I have been using this for two weeks straight and its helping with digestion as well. Just wish instructions gave more detail and that the smell was not so strong . All in all this is a good product . I have no regrets buying this and plan on purchasing again.

BulkSupplements is clearly at the top of supplement game. The Bamboo Extract Powder doesn't have any distracting taste or smell. This is the first powder supplement that I have had in years that I can mix in water that is easy to drink without any problems. I mix this with my Fruit2O flavored water of choice, Beet Powder, and a couple of packages of Truvia; I'm good to go. I'm doing a good deed for my skin, hair, and nails; while getting my burst of morning. This Bamboo powder is better than any Silica power that you will ever take. You won't go wrong with this one!

I'm not sure of how to rate this product. For one it didn't dissolve like the review said. It leaves clumps and it's this brown color when I thought it was supposed to be a white powder. I think I'll try a liquid brand because I'm not familiar with the product and I don't know if it was old, got to hot, a bad batch, or normal. The taste isn't bad, but I'm not sure of the effects because I was too afraid to take it long enough to see results or a difference
