I like how this is up on the wall, it does not make any noise or sounds, the ad states that animals and children could play by it and even touch it but I disagree , I feel it is hot to touch but it won’t burn you , unless you continue to keep your hand on it for awhile. But it’s great for places w little room and is super quiet ppl don’t even know it’s a heater. Would recommend and buy again.

Overall the panel performed as expected, but before the end of our first winter of use, it has begun to crack in multiple places despite accurate and careful installation. Also, had the very common issue of initial smell for first several daysUpdate 2023: This panel continued to crack during off season and failed to work at all the second winter since purchased. Changed rating from three stars to one.

I wanted to use this in my small bathroom. To test it without bolting it to the wall, I built a wooden rig to hold it in the mostly closed-off 5’ x 5’ area near the shower. The bathroom has a temperature sensor tied into my home automation so I turned on the heater one morning and was disappointed to see it only raising the temp only 2-3 degrees (F) per hour. Considering that this is the coldest room in the house, it would have to run for about 4 hours before the room was ready for a shower.On the plus side, it’s whisper quiet and the heating element does cover almost the entire surface, as you can see in the photo. The area in the upper right is where the electronics are so it’s no surprise that part doesn’t get warm. It maxed out around 60C (140F) which is hot to the touch, but since it’s not metal you’ll yank your hand away before you get burned.I’m disappointed that this didn’t do a better job in such a small area. I think it might be useful under a desk or something like that, but I wouldn’t expect it to warm a space much bigger than that. I guess I’ll stick to the oscillating (but noisy) space heater I’ve been using.

I love this ambient heater, bought two. One for my bedroom, since I like to keep that room cooler in the winter, but this kept it from getting too cold. And the other for my dining room, that my mini-split can’t reach very well, it kept the chill out of the air for my parrot.

Update: This company contacted me and took into consideration of providing a safety cover.. I love the one I have installed in my kitchen.. I had to turn it off because our outdoor temps warmed up and we were getting to warm.. It will definitley keep us warm when the Temps drop again.. (first review) There is no temperature control. Does not come with a remote. You either have on or off. Surface gets hot with no grating to protect small children from touching it. You could install high but heat rises so you would just be heating your ceiling. It puts out good heat however.

I love this heater-unfortunately after 4 & 1/2 months it died. Trying to get warranty replacement but it’s difficult.I did get a replacement. It cracked after 3 or 4 times of use. So I contacted them again got another replacement used it three nights and it cracked. Trying to get my money back now.

We bought this heater as a way to heat my home office. Went with the oil radiator option before, but wanted to try something that could hang off the floor. We finally got it installed tonight and I was sorely disappointed! Husband took it out of the box and noticed both bottom corners were cracked. The Amazon post says it’s crack resistant. Think you’re going to control the heat with this hunk of junk? Think again! There’s only one switch and the only options are on and off. Not only that, but the texture on the surface of the heater reminds me of chalk or drywall. Husband said he couldn’t take the stickers off the front without taking the paint off the unit. I wouldn’t pay any money for this heater, much less over a hundred! Save yourself the headache and keep looking for a better option.

I’ll follow up this review after winter but do far it’s amazing and I like the heat output and slim design. I hardly notice it’s there. We’re using it on an old concrete wall (old house) in our bedroom that butts up against a hillside that creates moisture buildup and thus mold every single winter. We got the first cold days here in Washington, and wall heater keeps our room warm and cozy sofar. It took about 20 min to install it if you got the right tools on hand.
