Does this improve low stomach acid

As per the book “Why Stomach Acid is Good For You” by J. Wright M.D. it is certainly supposed to be helpful. I’ve used it for heartburn on an as-needed basis along with apple cider vinegar, drinking plenty of water, elevating head of bed and no food 2 hours before bed and this combo of things has worked for me.

I don’t think this counts as food, so I’d say no.
