Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews! Gets better with use!
Takeaway: seem sketchy at first, but with some use they become pretty awesome!Note: these aren’t fabric paint markers. If you are looking for something that will be opaque over a pattern or dark material, these ain’t it. These are definitely more marker-like than paint like, so I would use on a lighter colored fabric.First impressions: most were dry, most markers had different colors on each end, and actual colors don’t match the capsAfter about 1-2 minute of use of each marker: colors balanced out well (I.e. they seemed to be different colors on each end but with use became a much better color match) and the markers that initially seemed very dry vastly improved in color payoff/flow of color. In my one photo, you can see how the very dry dark green marker became much more pigmented and vibrant. In my other photo, you can see how the thin green lines I made initially using a marker eventually became a much lighter green, better matching the color that came out the other end.So, I think that while they seem sketchy at first, with some use the color flows much better and the variation in the colors improves. I also didn’t have any problem with colors bleeding; I used these markers on white 100% cotton woven fabric that I pre washed. Great value for money!Update: in total, I had 4 markers that each had one side that was too dry to use after some working with them. I heat set with an iron and it seems to have worked so far. I would agree that there could be more vibrant purples and light blue, but otherwise the colors (after some working) all seem to be pretty distinct and blendable.

The Little Engines that Could...
When I first received these I was completely satisfied with the value (eg- cost vs. quantity/quality) of the products as they (on the surface) appeared to be decently constructed in that none of the markers were broken/leaking, or missing and the variety of colors was excellent. I honestly did not expect these to last very long as the markers themselves are a touch thicker than a standard pencil and about the same length, but never the less I had some projects that required coloring and only a little at that so even if a marker ran out of juice, it would be okay. When I started to use the first one I applied light-med pressure as I did not want to damage the tip and I wanted to see: A) the color of marker compared to the cap color and B) how much ink was released. These make a decently fine line, a bit more precise than I had imagined which I was worried about since I needed to fill in some color, but again not in a large area so at that time I estimated I would probably use an entire marker for one block of color. After a minute of coloring in the ink seemed to be dying out and I became concerned, but I also realized with this fine of a tip and the fact that these are NOT intended to fill-in color it might be that the marker simply needed a second to replenish itself. I capped it and set it down for a minute. When I started again, the line was very weak and I was about to give up as I had tried applying a little more pressure with no noticeable improvement, but just as I was about to throw in the towel the ink flow started back up and not only was I able to finish my project, I was able to use the same marker on another separate project and this time (total use: 10 minutes) no stoppage. In fact I am pretty sure there is enough ink left to do some other detailed work if necessary. Overall as long as you don't abuse these markers they are a great value and will work as advertised.

Definitely would buy again
I have to say, I've been really pleased with them! They’re perfect for adding a personal touch to my fabric projects. The colors are vibrant, and they go on smoothly without any streaking. I love how they dry quickly, which means I can keep working on my projects without worrying about smudging.I’ve used them on everything from T-shirts to tote bags, and the results have been fantastic. They seem pretty durable, too; after a few wash cycles, the designs have held up well without fading. Just be sure to let them set properly before washing, and you'll be good to go.Overall, I really enjoy using these fabric pens—definitely a great addition to my craft supplies! If you’re looking to get creative with fabric, I would recommend giving them a try.

MANY USES! GREATER FLEXIBILITY AND MORE RELIABLE THEN IRON ON NAME TAGS.
While it can be used as a normal marker, it is fabulous for marking laundry. If you ever send your laundry somewhere to be done, or if your kids keep loosing school items, it is ideal.I used the iron on stickers for kids clothing but the items often got lost or stolen or misplaced as those stickers even if the are not supposed to come off tend to be really removable. This is system is really fool proof. If you send your kids to school or camp this is ideal system.I tend to find very discrete place and make some symbols so I know that the item is ours, however when the kids go to place where item can be mixed up, a clear name can be easily writtenand you decide where and what size etc.WONDERFUL TEN STAR PRODUCT!

Could be better
I haven't used these on a project but did a test on my old pants and it has worked nicely. There was no bleeding and it came out nice and smooth. It comes out black but immediately dries and fades a bit, so you'll have to go over it again once ir twice to get something darker. It hasn't smeared after drying, so hopefully it wont smear in a wash or in the dryer, I'll update when I try that out.Update:If you leave these open for a minute or two without using them, the tip will dry out. Some of the ink will begin to leak back into the tip but it'll take hours to be able to fully use again.I had to wait another day before i could use it at fully again. This does fade in the wash. I have tested it out on fabric paint and on white denim. No matter how many times you wash it will always be there but it fades from black to a noticeably washed out black.Works great for those who want a washed put black look or those who aren't washing their item. Otherwise you might just want to buy black fabric paint and take the time to use that instead.
