Expensive but necessary
If you need perfect colour in you films, start with perfect footage and colour grading is a lot easier.

Saved me so much time and headache
Had to watch some YT videos to learn how to use it, but after I did it saved me so much time and headache. I use it with Final Cut Pro but it's even easier to use with Davinci Resolve.Pros:1. Does what it claims to do2. Fits anywhereCons:1. Pricey2. PlastickyCan't give it a 5 because of the price but even though it costs a lot for what it is, I'd definitely be willing to buy it again if I lost it.

An annoyingly pricy but essential tool
The media could not be loaded. It is annoying how pricey these colour reference pallets are, I do understand they are a speciality calibrated tool but still :PThat said it is clearly well made, apart from the way the hinge works it really looks premium and you're getting "something" for your money, what would have been nice though is to have designed into it a mounting point, such as a 1/4" thread so that as a one-man shooter, you could set up your shots more easily. It took me a while to finally pull the trigger on this but I was fed up with the guesswork of getting a shot to look correct, this takes out the guesswork for the most part. After using it for a number of shoots I wouldn't go without one. Of course, being passport sized it does fall short for wider or longer shots, it's mostly useful for interviews and the like. I suppose down the line I'll end up forking out for the A4-sized version as well...If you're on the fence, shoot professionally (or want to) and find yourself second-guessing your colours, this is likely your answer (or at least part of it :P )

Design issue. AVOID!!!
For a very expensive product £100+, the item is infuriatingly designed terribly.I had this product over a course of two months with light usage and in pockets as the small design leads towards.I've only used the grey panel to set the white balance so far. However as seen in the screenshot the white and black pane has TRANSFERED across to the grey rendering it faulty. If this was a cheap product as the plasticky build gives creedence to, then I might have thought to simply throw away and replace. However for an £100 plus product, this is an infuriatingly bad product and needs to be avoided.

Way over priced andddd
They recommend on the back of the box you change this every 1-2 years. At that price that’s a joke. When custom white balance is set on my FX6 and FX3 using a cheap £10 card from Amazon I got years ago this gives almost identical readings. So if you’re only needing a grey card then save some money.

Too expensive
This item is simply too expensive for what it is. I was able to get the same results without the card just as quickly.

Stiff to operate, but accurate when in use.
I don't know if this is designed to be stiff to open and close, but time will tell. Once opened and in position, it operates as needed.

A ridiculous price, for a poorly made product.
Whilst it is a very valuable product for accurate colour grading, it is ridiculously overpriced. The hinge mechanism is very rough as others have mentioned. In addition there are bubbles under some of the grey scale swatches. Very poor value!
