Hush Puppies Women's Power Walker

This is a comfortable walking shoe which all other walking shoes aspire to be but fall short. There is no obnoxious inside seam to rub your foot, they fit snug without pinching any part of the foot. They have the best cushion and bounce of any walking shoe I have ever had. I love this walking shoe and plan on buying another pair when these wear out. This walking shoe should be the gold standard. You will not be disappointed. I have arthritis in my big toe and these shoes make the pain almost disappear. I recommend this shoe to anyone with foot problems/pain especially. They are exceptionally comfortable. They look good too and I wear them to work on casual Friday's and don't mind walking on the hard tile floors. They are worth it.

I live in a small town, with limited shopping. I had purchased these shoes, while visiting my Daughter in Indianapolis, In. several years back. I found them to be the best fitting, most comfortable, long lasting shoe in quite some time.After she moved from there, we no longer drove there. So, I began my search, with no luck. My other daughter had ordered from Amazon, quite a few times, and was happy with the service.So, I decided to try at Amazon, and right away, I was happy to see I could get them. A very reasonable price, for the best casual walking shoe, that can be worn on most any occasion. Your feet will love them,too. Fast service was a plus, also.

My wife has another pair of Hush Puppies that are similar to the Power Walkers and bought these, because of the comfortable fit. She has found that the HP's hold up well and last for quite a while. The size is actually roomy at the toe box for her narrow feet, but wearing socks makes the shoes perfect, and she can still wiggle her toes! The heel is nice and snug with no slippage. The whole shoe provides plenty of support. These are going on a trip to Australia/New Zealand soon, and will get in a lot of walking-time. The color Taupe is great...goes with everything!

I bought this shoe to wear to my Zumba classes - I needed something that was well-padded in order to take the stress of dancing and moving around - this shoe fits the bill. Because my feet are flat, I had to put in arch inserts but they fit well without taking up room in the shoe. And also, this shoe has a large toe box, but it doesn't look "boxy" so that's a plus, too. My only complaint is that it fits around the ankle a little too snug, but with my socks on I don't feel the edges of the shoe; and I definitely don't feel it while taking Zumba. Also, I initially ordered this shoe in my regular tennis size of 9 and it was way too big. It fits more like a regular shoe, as an fyi.

These shoes are very roomy, especially great for wide feet. I ordered 7 1/2 wide (C/D) in white for going on walks and doing errands. They don't squeeze or pinch my toes or the area just below my toes, which is often a problem for me with shoes. I tried them on with thin socks, but I'm sure that they could work with thick socks, too. The simple style looks so much better to me than those bulky athletic shoes that just have too much going on in the design. From the reviews that I read, I expected more padding throughout the footbed; however, there is good arch support. I probably won't need to put in my firm orthopedic type insoles. There is a lot of cushioning in the heel area. When I put my weight on just the heel part, I could feel that. I can see why this style has been around for at least 20 years and why so many reviewers said that they have bought many pairs of these.

I've only worn these twice so far, but they were very comfortable out of the box and fit in my normal size. I was half expecting them to look too wide in the front, but they don't. There is plenty of room for toes, but comfortably so. I have an extremely high arch and there was sufficient tie length and material to cinch up nicely. I really appreciate the taupe color as it is often difficult to find. Additional benefits were a great sale price and the condition in which they came -- all packaging included and looking new. This definitely is not always the case.

My feet are a mess with bunions, hammertoes, and more. Also, have chronic back issues and permanent areas of numbness in feet. It is extremely difficult for me to find shoes that are comfortable and accommodate the "feet and back" issues. The shoes arrived, I put them on immediately. I did not experience any breaking in time. I find these shoes extremely comfortable in terms of softness, fit, support, and the" levelness" of the sole and heel height which is problematic for me in other shoes with the back issues in particular. These are by far the best shoes I have purchased in many years. If you can relate to any of my feet and back issues, I'd say, take a chance and try these shoes. I am extremely satisfied and quite amazed at the positive difference. I will be purchasing additional pairs.
