These are some of the best menstrual pads
I'm a female to male transsexual who also has some stress induced incontinence issues so it helps to use something like this especially in hot environments when sometimes disposable will break down.I used reusable pads before I transitioned and I have to say that of all the pads that I've tried, these are probably the most comfortable I've ever used for any reason. It's incredibly soft.I did end up trying them when I had my period as well, it seems to absorb very well (I honestly didn't have a super heavy flow but I think it would have managed a heavy flow). These are quite long and they wrap around briefs pretty well (two snaps) and have quite a bit of coverage so no real concern with getting anything on your undergarments when you're sleeping even if you move around a lot like I do.For cleaning... actually I'm pretty impressed. I don't know how the middle portion functions but rinse with water and the blood seems to just drain out. The "wings" are almost as easy to clean. It's clearly stain resistant and I let a fair amount of blood sit for two days, water alone helped get most of the blood out. A little bit of boring normal soap and most of the rest went right away.

Great purchase for a clean, comfortable, eco friendly experience!
I am a morbidly obese teenager and I always have problems with disposable pads during my periods. 1. They are never long enough because my period always travels to my butt crack also and I always stain my underwear. 2. They never stay in place and cause additional staining, even when I wear one in the front and one in the back for extra protection. 3. They are even more annoying to put on when I just got out of the shower and my big legs are wet and it folds the pad as I am pulling everything on. I absolutely hate them.I decided to try these out because I wanted to help our environment and lower my waste production, and I was hoping they would be better than the disposable ones.... and they are! They stay in place, and I had absolutely no problem putting them after a shower. My period still travels all the way back and stains my underwear but I guess I shouldn’t have expected these to stop that, but they do help this situation a bit because they are pretty long. I think I would need period panties for this problem, but they are a bigger investment and these pads will do for the time being. They are also very comfortable, clean, and dry. I actually felt cleaner with them than with disposable pads. Usually with disposable pads, when I would use the restroom I could smell the blood, but with these their is no blood smell. In conclusion, this is a great purchase and I would recommend it to everybody!I would like to add that I recommend a wet bag. I didn’t purchase a wet bag and just kept them in a open plastic grocery bag in the restroom, and, while it didn’t stink up the restroom, the bag itself was smelly after I washed everything else and using plastic bags would basically defeat my purpose of reducing waste.

NOT super comfortable IF you use thin pads. It’s not a bad product
!!one thing I didn’t think about that I hope will help other people is that it is meant to be like a regular size disposable pad, NOT the thin kind. To me, I’ve used the thin always disposable pads for as long as I can remember, and they’ve been perfect except for their lack of reusability lol. That’s why this kind of pad was not very comfortable, which was surprising after reading how comfortable it should have been in other reviews. It is bearable to wear, but personally I’m going to be looking for thinner and absorbant reusable pads even if it’s a bit more expensive. I already have my eyes on one brand lolNot a bad product. Very cute designs and folding ease! Great price. It’s a great length for overnight. No leakage through the bottom, but it would be nice if the absorbant material carried on to the wings. I had more leakage on the sides than I had in disposable pads (I can’t say anything about the overnight aspect bc I only used it during the day).

I loved them!
I used these pad through my entire last period just so I could test them out and I wasn’t disappointed. What I noticed first was they are a little on the thicker side so they can feel a bit bulky but I don’t mind that too much. I have a heavy flow so I wear overnight pads through my whole period anyway. The absorption is great I tested one by wearing it most of the day and even with my heavy flow they didn’t leak. I didn’t have any leaks at night either I can see how you could because the can slide a little but I wear shorts to bed on my period so they kept the pad in place even with my tossing and turning. They aren’t very breathable so I noticed an odor down there while especially when it gets hot and I live in Hawaii. This made me a little self conscious so I looked for a way to solve that which I found lume the deodorant helps with that. I applied it after my shower and noticed the was little to no odor down there while wearing the pads.I found them simple to clean you can soak them or give them a quick hand wash after you use them so they don’t stain or smell I didn’t have any issues with that then I just toss them in the washer once I get the chance and either line dry or delicate heat. With disposable pads I found that I get itchy and irritated down there when I used them With scent or no scent, but with these Reusable pads I didn’t have that problem at all. I really enjoy them and will definitely continue using them from now on!
