This stuff is a lifesaver! I’ve used a lot of wood fillers over the years, but Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler has become my absolute go-to for repairs, touch-ups, and refinishing work. The natural color blends beautifully, and the performance is top-notch, just what you’d expect from the Gorilla brand. The filler comes out of the tube easily and spreads like butter. Whether you’re filling nail holes, dents, or deeper gouges, it applies evenly with no crumbling or mess. It dries quickly (usually within 15-30 minutes depending on the depth), which keeps projects moving along without unnecessary delays. Once dry, it sands smooth without clogging the sandpaper or flaking. It finishes flush with the wood, leaving behind an almost invisible. It takes paint and stain very well, no weird discoloration or rejection. With a bit of sanding and blending, the repair becomes practically undetectable.The neutral tone is perfect for blending with most unfinished or lightly stained woods. This stuff worked great. I had an old trundle bed where there screw holes were all worn out and had expanded over the years. This thing hasn’t been put together in over 20 years. I tried bigger screws/bolts and that didn’t work either. I filled in the screw holes with this gorilla wood filler and let it dry for like a day and night. Just put the trundle bed together with ease. It was like brand new wood. It pulled the bed frame in as I was ratcheting the bolts. Everything is all tight now. (Except for one I’m guessing I didn’t put enough in that hole so I’ll just get a bigger bolt for that one) it should be good as new. Either way this stuff far exceeded my expectations. It does match the color of the bed too even though it’s covered by the frame where I used it. It’s a little tough to squeeze out of the tube. But not a problem. Very happy with this product.

Doesn’t leak, easy enough to use, seems like it’s decent quality. It has a sand-like gritty consistency and sand/brown color to it so before painting another color you will need to sand it down and prime it first. Overall I think it did a decent job. It’s a product that you get better with the more you use it for sure but you can get away with doing it yourself.It can take a while to dry so plan accordingly!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This stuff worked great! Very thick and a little difficult to get out of the tube, but did the job!

My dogs knocked some of the wood filler out of my hardwood floor. This filler worked great, its a little soft until it dries but seems to seal up better than what the floor installer used.

Incredibly flakey. Takes a long time to dry. When it does, it’s very brittle. Not what I was expecting

Works very well for filling in wood holes and dents. sands smooth and accepts paint well. A bit hard to squeeze out of the tube and a bit challenging to spread as it has a gritty sandy texture but once you get it out of the tube and work it in it holds up quite nicely.

I cut the end of tube halfway down, but it came out with difficulty. That could be my fault. But it worked very well repairing a wooden lawn ornament. I have a big hand carved turtle that the weather began wearing it down. This filled holes very easy and stayed in. Very easy to sand, and used stain to match it to the wood after dry. It took the stain very well.
