I bought this for my grandson who is very interested in tracking animals. It was very educational and has great pictures with each animal. I would recommend it any day and can't wait to order other books in the series!

I bought this for an outdoor-themed book for baby. It got here, and i love it, but it's definitely for an older child. Has places for them to journal, etc. I stuck it in the closet for when he's older!

I was so excited to see a book I loved from my childhood and immediately purchased it for my son. There must have been some confusion about the difference between hard cover and paperback. I thought for sure we'd be getting the same, spiral-bound book that I grew up reading with note pages and sketch pages for every section. It was a cool book for taking out into the woods and learning about the animals.

This is the perfect ID book for kids. The illustrations and descriptions are great. I got the kids excited about animal tracks after a snowfall and they were quickly able to ID common mammal tracks in no time. Tracks are a little harder to find come springtime, but they were little pros by then and their interest has not waned. Definitely recommend this book.

this book was not just helpful in identifying animal tracks but was so full of information about each animal. My grandson loved reading about them and learned so much. The way the information was presented was amazing for children of many ages to understand. He is 7 and really enjoyed it. We use it every time we go hiking. I highly recommend this book. This entire series is perfect for a nature homeschool library or for any nature lover really. We love that they can be easily taken out for field learning. They are packed with all kinds of great information too. Worth investing in all the books like this.
