It was super easy to install and the fit was good. No instructions, but it's pretty easy to go based off of pictures to see where things go. I do also really like how it looks with my throw over saddle bags tying it all together. The rear seat back also works really well to hold your helmet when taking a break to not balance it on the seat. Overall I'd definitely recommend this over spending $200+ with Honda.

First thing I wanna say is this is an easy install and it looks great on my 2023 Rebel. Now why did I only rated it with 4 stars? Couple of things, first like everyone else mentioned, no instructions. For me its ok since I check all the photos in this product and just figured it out from there. Second thing is all the bolts, nuts and screws were not painted black. My solution, spray painted all of them in matte black. Make sure use the spacers included when mounting the side brackets so it will not rub against the bike itself. Also be careful not to over torque the bolts on the side brackets because it may bend the bracket if you overdo it. But overall, it seems to be of high quality, better pricing than the OEM back rest assembly and the finish looks great. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Almost didn't buy it because of the reviews. I've put 1,000 miles on the bike with this on it and it's great! Bolts and nuts are silver, just like in the pictures, so I don't understand that complaint. No instructions - sure, but you would have to be pretty inept to not understand how this goes together. If you're reading this and not sure if you should buy - if you have a wrench and a working brain this is a great backrest and luggage rack. Hope this helps.

This backrest is awesome! Good quality, clean paint job, easy to assemble, however it doesn’t come with instructions. I referred to the product pictures to put it together. Passenger loves it and when paired with the mustang pillion it’s the next best thing to a touring bike

I find the product to be good for the price but only if you are willing to modify it for the luggage rack to be stable/useful. If you want to mount a case or carry anything substantial I think drilling out the holes to 3/8" so you can use tight fitting larger bolts makes sense. The holes are drilled for something I can't figure out, not 3/8" not 8mm not 10mm (no 9mm bolts at Menards but maybe that's a thing). 8mm or 1/4" they are sloppy (not good as the rear end rack will bounce), and 3/8" or 10mm doesn't fit. Once I drilled them out it is very tight and fits well. I deducted a star for there being no cross bar on the rear end for stability or it being one solid piece to the luggage rack and another for the goofy sized holes with sloppy fitting hardware included. You could deduct another for the hardware not being black but I find that an easy fix for a non-oem solution.As for the backrest I didn't have a use for it in the end as the top box will serve that purpose with a pad. Apply all the same issues to that as well.I have only used it one day but so far it didn't fall apart carting home some items from the store.

Bracket installed well and worked for a few months. Giving it one star though because the bracket snapped in half mid-ride and ended up dumping its contents onto the freeway. Could not recommend for use as a backrest for passengers or to secure a container on.

This was very simple to install with no instructions on my 2024 Rebel 1100T. Saddle bags were easy to remove with just 4 bolts using a 5 mm Allen socket. I then just loosened the two top bolts on the saddle bag frame and then slid the backrest piece right between the existing spacer. I had to slightly pry out and hold the spacer in place, but it was simple. You can see in my picture what I’m talking about. The whole thing tightened together perfectly after that. I put the two side pieces in before building the whole backrest. Hope this helps.
