This remote did exactly what it said: connected to my Samsung TV in seconds, no setup nightmare required. Buttons are responsive, layout’s intuitive, and it feels solid in the hand. It’s not backlit and doesn’t have fancy smart features, but for the price? Totally worth it.

This was easy to set up and worked right out of the box. The problem is that there's an input lag when pressing the same button repeatedly that's really obnoxious. For example on a smart tv if you have a row of apps and you're pressing the right arrow to navigate over you can't press it repeatedly, you have to press, wait for it to register, then press again, then wait for it to register. This was also the case with the volume, you couldn't just hold the button down to change the volume up or down faster.3 stars because it does work, and if you don't have a smart tv it's probably fine. But I'm going to get a different remote.

My TV is at least 15 years old. This was so easy to set up, 2 simple steps. It works great, but I’m giving it 4 stars because the channel up and down arrow doesn’t work. Other than that, it is fabulous! It saved me from buying a new TV.

Very easy to program

I bought this remote to replace the one that came with my LG TV, and it works just fine. It was really easy to set up, basically just put in the batteries and it was ready to go. The remote feels light but not too cheap, and all the buttons I use the most work without any problems. Sometimes I have to press a button twice for it to register, but it is not a huge deal for the price. Overall, it is a solid backup or replacement if you lose your original remote and just need something that works without any complicated setup.
