Absolutely love this!!! Must have for IBD and spine pain
Here’s a bit of my story: I’ve been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease (IBD) for over 3 decades (I’m 41) and since June of last year I’ve had 3 spine surgeries. I was desperately trying to figure out something to make it more comfortable and easier for me to use the toilet (mainly for my spine, but it ended up being incredibly fantastic for my Crohn’s too).*So in my extensive search I found this 2 inch (I think the 4 inch would be too high for me) toilet seat cushion, I want to be VERY clear that it’s NOT meant to raise you up, it just gives you some extra cushion so you aren’t directly on a hard toilet seat.*Also for other reviews that say it flattens, yes it does, but there’s still enough cushion to make it comfortable. I’m 195lbs and I still use the first one I purchased, it’s not flat as you can see in my photos. It’s very simple to use, 6 suction cups on the back of it keep it in place (easy to remove for company), there’s a zipper so it’s easy to clean, and I’m not in pain from being on the toilet anymore.*If you struggle like I used to, I highly recommend trying this out.*The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t close the lid on my toilet, but that is minimal as far as I’m concerned, especially since it’s easy to remove.*I really hope this information helps others. I can’t believe I’ve gone so long without one, I even keep a backup on hand. I hope to never be without one.* Also, I’m the type of person that does a lot of research before I buy anything and even though some of the other reviews were a little negative, I just had a feeling I had to try this out for myself. I’m so happy I made this purchase!!

Very good for an elderly person
This is great for an elderly relatives. It does not slide around because it has suction and sturdy straps. Also a comfortable pad and easy to remove and clean.

Gives The Lift Needed for Short People
Because of a back injury, I've needed more help in some areas of daily living. One of those areas I've had difficulty with is sitting down on the toilet. My back spasms when I lower myself down low, so a toilet seat lift or cushion was needed. This seat cushion is the right height for people like me who are short in stature. I'm 5' 0" and I knew the higher cushions, such as 4" cushions, would mean that I'd be on tippy toes trying to ease myself onto the seat. This 2" deep cushion is perfect for my short height. The density of the cushion is not very thick, so if you're overweight it may flatten a bit over time. I'm not very thin but this cushion has maintained its thickness so far. The vinyl is comfortable. The cushion attaches with suction cups - I cleaned my toilet seat first and dried it before applying the cushion. The suction cups keep the cushion in place, but the cushion can fairly easily be removed if someone else in the house wants to remove it.

Don't buy the 2". Waste of money.
Gonna order the 4" version. Will let you know how it works.Update: 3rd one was DOA. Definitely cheaper foam or old deteriorating foam."I remember the first one... It literally propped me up over an inch above the toilet seat. It was comfortable and the space in front kept me from having to try to balance on my bad legs while wiping." They sure don't make it that well anymore.Only way to fix it would be with foam rubber, instead of foam. That would still be cushiony but wouldn't completely collapse when you sit down. This one only has ¼ inch padding between me and the toilet seat when I sat on it on Day 1. I haven't gained weight, I'm only 5'1". I even use a foot stool to keep my feet from dragging on my bad legs!DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.Update: 2nd one died after 45 days! Either cheaper foam or old foam. Disappointed! After 1½ years the foam padding died, and I needed to buy a new one. So happy with this product I didn't even look at other items, just ordered another one.The 2 inch padding works great at preventing most of my leg pain. Has SOFT comfortable vinyl cover that won't crack easily. It's way better than the expensive but cheaply made ½ inch padded toilet seats you can buy, with the hard vinyl that cracks within weeks and barely pads the seat.I was having to buy new padded toilet seats every 2 months. I would tape up the cracks at first, but the sticky edges of the white vent tape was definitely not a sanitary idea on a toilet. And it gets expensive at $30+ every time.Only problem I have with the pad is that because it's 2 inches thick, the toilet seat lid doesn't go down. That's a twofold problem. 1. When you flush everything sprays (invisible) at least 4 feet. Do an internet search, you will no longer leave tooth brushes or anything out when you flush. 2. Looks gross without a lid. Embarrassing if I have company.I halfway solved this by taking the lid from my vinyl cracked padded toilet seat. I use it to cover the toilet when I flush and when it's not in use. Since I have a "self closing toilet lid" it's curved to the inside. Surprisingly the old padded lid fits perfectly inside the lid. So when I lean back, I am leaning on the padded part of the old lid. The hard top of the old lid sits inside my toilet seat lid.But it still LOOKS funky.Really wish the pad came with a simple thin plastic cover for when not in use, and while flushing. It would LOOK and BE more sanitary with a simple thin plastic removable lid that covered the entire 2 inch pad that reaches all the way to the toilet.

Great product until it broke down
I bought the 2 inch foam and I really liked it for the first month, but then it started to break down really fast and did not provide hardly any cushion support at all. And I am not a heavy person at 140 lb. I am now ordering the 4 inch to see if that holds up a little bit better. I would recommend the white. It’s easier to see if it needs to be cleaned. I found it cleaned up very easily and mine has not cracked so far. The suction cups do not have a lot of suction, but that’s OK because I don’t move around a lot, And I found I don’t need the tool to take this off and on, you can just reach underneath and flip the little tabs on the suction cups, and they come right off. If I have company or I don’t want this on, I can take it off and on very easily. I also chose this model because everything it sits on top of the toilet ring versus other models that have straps that go under the ring which could be exposed to bacteria or splashing.
