can this get six stars? Great idea, and the first mod I bought after getting a Jeep. The fit is perfect, and they are easily installed. I came across these as almost every video online says to get these as one of the first mods when you get a jeep. I had seen videos with people already getting chips within the first 1k miles of ownership, so I made sure to get mine within the first 100 to protect it. Looks great as the person who applies them is the only one that knows they're there. Even comes with an extra set, but based on the quality I have seen, i may not need it.

Great value for the money and does it job beautifully. Quick to install and have had no chips on my hinges. So far with months of use the adhesive is still holding tight and very unnoticeable with the clear vinyl. Definitely something to get as soon as you buy your Jeep.

I use these on all my Jeeps. Currently on a 19' JLR & 21' JLU. Tried the plastic covers, they look clunky in my opinion and can trap moisture. These provide great protection and I can see if anything is going on. Awesome product.

Help with protection from rock chips and road debris on door hinges. I’m giving four stars cause I’m not sure how they’ll hold up and the fact the pack I got was missing one of the guards.

Just added these to a new 2024 JL Wrangler. They have saved the hinges on my Gladiator from rock-chips multiple times, so they were my first purchase for the Wrangler. These are very thick and tough and so far have proved impenetrable to stone/rock damage. Rock chips just slightly leave a soft ding in the material, which is not visible and can only be felt. They adhere strongly to the hinges, do not peel over time, but are easily removed if replacement should be needed.Installation is easy but requires some careful attention to detail when placing the first edge down. I've found it best to install the top section first using the vertical line already on the hinge as a guide for where to place the leading edge of the protection film. As long as the protection film is perfectly vertical and the top and bottom are centered, you're good to go. For the bottom section, I use a ruler or the edge of one of the papers that hold the stickers as a guide. Place the edge of the ruler or piece of paper along the edge of the top protector you just installed and get that perfectly vertical. Then using the opposite hand, lay on the bottom protector right up against the ruler. With both protectors, as long as the leading edge is vertical and centered, you can trust just laying down the rest of it around the hinge. I like that an extra set is included in case you want to redo one you messed up.
