Carton buttermilk can spoil but this is always available....even this southerner keeps it on hand.

I picked this up for my homemade mixes. I refuse to buy box mixes and make batches up of my own and store them in canning jars for use later on.I have used this for my buttermilk pancake mix, and also my ranch dressing mix. I found there was no clumping, it mixed well, and the taste was awesome.The price was up there, but it is organic and you get what you pay for.

Like this convenient product. I use it to make Ranch dressing. Will try it with my organic flour and maple syrup and make Buttermilk pancakes and waffles.It has a 2 year shelf life so I save money by not throwing out the unused liquid form.

I use this for baking recipes that call for buttermilk (cornbread, chocolate cake, pancakes, etc) since I rarely have traditional buttermilk on hand. The convenience can't be beat. Happy to find an organic option and one that doesn't have a bunch of other fillers or unnecessary ingredients too. I transferred the powder to a jar and keep it in the fridge--it lasts a very long time this way.It's easier to combine with the dry ingredients and then add water to the larger mix than to try to reconstitute this separately with water and then add, as it's really difficult to get it smooth and lump-free that way. I haven't used it in any other applications, so I can't comment on flavor (if anyone was planning on using this as a drink). I definitely plan on re-ordering this when I run out.
