2017 4runner SR5 NON JBL
Just installed these speaker adapters in my car, and they're pretty sweet. Made the whole speaker swap so much easier. Fit perfectly, no modifications needed, which is always a plus. Sound quality is great, no rattles or vibrations. Definitely recommend these if you're upgrading your sound system. Saved me a ton of time and hassle. Overall, a solid purchase.

Made install easy
2005 Toyota Matrix. For front speakers just no adjustments were made. For the rear, they didn't line up exactly but after loosely placing bolts in I was able to get the three bolts in. The lower end protruded just a bit and another was just on the line of a plastic door fastener hole. The door panels may have gone down as us but I didn't want to chance it so shaved them down just a bit with my dremal tool before. No issues and panels buttoned down perfectly.

These are PERFECT! I was trying to install 6.5" CT Sound Meso speakers until i realized the stock speakers needed a bracket. Found this match with same day delivery. I cut the tabs using a Dremel even tho i realize now thats overkill and you only need to snap the tabs that are not needed off. I cut the inside tabs off and the outside 2 longer tabs. I used my own hardware because the hardware it came with im not sure how i feel about it. Dont overtighten the mount to the door or you probably will crack it. Treat it as plasic not metal a snug fit is good enough. I am a happy customer.

Works as Advertised
I bought these for a 2018 Toyota 4Runner SR5 to swap the OEM 6.5" speakers for Rockford Fosgates. Since you're already looking at these, you know that you need brackets to install aftermarket speakers, as they won't just bolt to the doors. The OEM speakers have brackets built into the speaker rims. Don't be like me and forget to consider this until AFTER pulling off a door panel. When trying to drop the speakers in, you'll have to pull off the screw tabs on the inside of the brackets,, assuming you're installing 6.5" speakers. Otherwise they'll keep the speaker from popping in all the way. Good news is, these pop out easily with a pair of pliers, as they're designed to be configured for multiple speaker brands. The same goes for some of the screw tabs on the outside for bolting to the doors.I would suggest also getting a rotary tool on hand. Once I screwed my speakers onto the bracket, some of the mounting screws stuck out through the back of the bracket, which prevented the assembly from lining up with the door panel. Once I cut off the excess screw lengths with a Dremel, the assembly lined up nicely. My only issue was the bolt holes on the outside tabs had a very slight offset from the door panel holes. Ultimately, this wasn't an issue, but it did force me to screw in the panel bolts at a slight angle. The screws still held on tight, with no visible flex in the bracket.

Brackets needed to replace your Toyota factory speakers
Replaced the factory door speakers in my 2010 corolla and needed this adapter. Speakers themselves lined up very well the adapter but the hole alignment to the door had one of the holes off a bit and needed to drill the hole bigger to allow the screw to line up properly. This happened for both doors so appears to be related to the design measurements. Not a big issue for me but you should be aware that that a small tweak may be necessary to the bracket as it is shipped.
