Super clean water ( NO MICROPLASTICS) Easy to use LIFE STRAW PITCHER
I learned about Micro plastics being in like everything. Bottled water household water. This pitcher filters out Microplastics and other stuff that is in most water (Including Plastic bottled water) It scared me at first because the reviews said it was very slow to process the water.... And It was till I did the filter prep to prepare it for clean water. Now it's pretty fast I fill it and go about some other business Then come back and fill it again. (I have several glass pitchers that when the Life Straw pitcher is full I fill the other glass pitchers and put THEM in the fridge. I keep the Life straw on the counter and process several gallons of fresh clean water a day. (Think of the Life Straw pitcher like a distillery not a serving pitcher) Fill glass simple pitchers or glass bottles and again put them in the fridge. Also I keep a room temp glass pitcher next to the Life Straw and use it to refill my Keurig coffee maker. Great clean coffee and Super simple and I'm not drinking toxic plastics and chemicals in my water. Tastes great too!!! Five Star *****

What with all the information coming out about microplastics in our water, and how they leach out of plastic water bottles that we've been buying in the supermarket, we wanted to pick up something better than our Brita filtering pitcher, which basically only takes out chlorine. When it first arrived, the Lifestraw pitcher, which is rated first on a number of web sites, it took a long time to filter through the water, but that was because the filters were new and dry. With subsequent uses, it filtered faster, though still not as fast as the Brita, but that's because it filters out more. We filter the water, then pour it into half gallon glass bottles that we keep in our frig. It works well, and the water tastes better. And it's a good buy for the money, too.

THE BEST TASTING WATER - Pls redesign the flippy top
This is the best tasting water! Yes, it can filter a bit more slowly than with other brands, but that may have to do with the quantity of solids and microplastics that must be removed from your water.Because I have filters left over from another brand and didn't want to waste them, I decided to pre-filter my water and then pour it through. This not only makes the water seem to flow through the filter faster, but likely extends the life of the small filter that is supposed to be replaced every other month. My only complaint is that I have to manually hold open the little round flippy top while filling the pitcher. Otherwise, water can spill on the counter (I don't fill it from the sink) or unfiltered water can splash into the spout, contaminating the filtered water. Please consider a slight redesign, perhaps making the flippy top slightly larger and oval, not round, to solve this issue.

Great glass filter pitcher
I got the blue one. I love that most of it is glass. The filter works great and it's easy to fill and pour. The filter started extremely slow, but sped up with each successive fill, as other reviews promised it would.I got a separate glass pitcher to transfer the filtered water to in order to have enough cold and filtered water since this one would be constantly empty if it was the only jug I was using.

Takes forever to fill, you shouldn't buy this. Should have a sub star for useless.
I had hopes for this product but it's just all wrong. It takes many, many fill to fill the container, very slow filling. It's quite heavy once it's full, quite heavy! And, taking the plastic cap off is hard to do, cheap, stuck and appears to want to break. I got glass but what is the point when it filters through plastic and pours through plastic. The water is delicious but the container is all wrong. If you get it, keep the box because you will be sending it back. I didn't so I'm out of luck returning it.

Seems like a nice water filter.
Bought this to replace my Pur water filter pitcher since Pur does not offer a PFAS filtering option.PROS:Nice color options, got the blue one, and great looking design. Can pour filtered water while unfiltered water is in the fill chamber without spilling or leaking. *So long as itnis not filled to the topCONS:It is rather difficult to disassemble for cleaning out the pitcher. The center fill chamber only holds 2-cups. So to fill this to its 7-cup capacity requires filling it 4 times. After filling it about a dozen times the filtering did speed up, a little, but still over an hour to filter 7-cups. The fill chamber should be atleast twice the size.
