I’ve been using the Anker Power Strip for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. With 12 AC outlets and 3 USB ports (including a USB-C), it provides more than enough options to charge and power all my devices in one central location. Literally everything I own power wise is Anker. This brand has proved itself over and over again.-Durable and well made-Excellent functionality. I love that the plug slots are spread out to allow for bigger charging blocks.- Anker trusted protection for your valuable electronics. I can’t even list all the ways Anker has safety mechanisms built in for various possible things that could happen. Temperature monitoring, surge protection etc.I would say this is well worth the money. Do yourself a favor and buy a quality surge protector like this and don’t use some cheap knockoff. Is a $10-$20 difference really worth risking your expensive electronics in a possible power surge?I have 2 of them and no regret.

This power strip has poor port spacing (1.5”) and if you don’t need as many I’d go for the smaller version with 2.2” spacing. Aside from the needlessly narrow design, it works really well. The ports grip plugs incredibly tightly and I have an Apple 140w MacBook charging block plugged in upside down underneath a standing desk and it hasn’t fallen out even slightly. Ports all work. If you’re an oddball and you plan to use all three USB ports at the same time, know in advance that you aren’t meant to and there’s a maximum draw for each port (and multiple ports) listed in the product description. Pretty lightweight other than the chunky cord and the build is nice (apart from the port spacing, which works but can be inconvenient if used incorrectly). Amazon’s recommending I touch on “power saving” but I don’t really think it does that. No idea if the surge protection works since the whole house is EMP-proof. Overall, it’s a pretty good product and if you need it and can deal with the narrow ports, I would (and literally did) buy it.

It’s a surge protector power strip. Simple. As usual with anything made by Anker, quality of both the product as well as the packaging is exemplary. The strip itself is fairly compact, yet provides plenty of plugs. Unfortunately the plugs are all rather close together so many become unusable if you plug in anything with a transformer-type plug. That’s really the one and only negative. The strip is made from quality matte plastic and feels very sturdy, and the power cord is both long as well as extremely thick and durable. There are also only two very tiny LED lights on it which are very dim; this is a huge bonus as some surge protectors have such bright LED’s that they look like obnoxious nightlights in a dark room. Extra points to Anker for paying attention to small details like this.I bought several of these and none have ever failed. Highly recommended.
