Will this stain or dye clothes or skin?

Clothes seem to be ok, but it did leave some some stains on the pool floats and a ring around the pool too.

Can you use it in the tub for kids?

The product needs the chlorine to rid the color, it will stain. Would NOt use in tub.

Want to detect if my spa is leaking back in to pool since level has started dropping. Will this work?

Yes. It will change the color if it is leaking

Is this ok for dogs to swim with?

As my review mentioned, I had to use twice as much of this as recommended just to get a moderate color change. My dogs weren’t in the pool, but it was safe for humans and it didn’t dye our bathing suits. So, I’m guessing it’s probably safe for pets.
