Love this product so much that this was the third one I've bought over several years. The support it provides is fantastic - although I had to remove the thumb support as this was uncomfortable for me. Would definitely recommend.

After over-extending my thumb I bought this splint to help stabilise my wrist and thumb and to prevent unnecessary movement, and the Neo G Stabilized Wrist and Thumb Brace has fully met my expectations with that regard.Because the brace extends across the knuckles of the hand and the thumb, and extends a little way up the wrist, it keeps the thumb and wrist pretty much immobile, even when using the hand to grip things. I also appreciated being able to adjust the “bend” in both strips of aluminium reinforcer to better follow the curve of my wrist and hand, and to be able to set the angle of my thumb against my hand.Two observations - neither of which should be construed in any way as a criticism of the product.The Neo G Wrist and Thumb Brace Is, by design, constructed to immobilise the wrist and thumb and it does that extremely well. I did find, however:1. After wearing the brace for extended periods, the bindings could dig into the flesh a little, especially between the thumb and forefinger. I got over this problem by wearing another NEO G product (the NEO G Airflow Wrist & Thumb Support - a fingerless support sleeve) under the brace, which made the wearing of the brace for long periods much more comfortable.2. For some tasks such as writing, or where extra dexterity of the fingers was needed, the fact that the splint extends over the knuckles of the hand and thumb did restrict movement a little. I resolved this by buying a similar product that helped immobilise the wrist and thumb a little, but didn’t extend over the hand and thumb knuckles. But I always swapped back to the NEO G brace for maximum protection.So, I’m really happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs to immobilise their thumb and wrist.

I got this as a replace for the one given to me by the NHS because it needed washing.This one is amazing. Keeps everything in place. Love it. Far superior in my eyes.I would definitely recommend this!

These with thumb support are an upgrade on my usual wrist supports

Purchased this splint as a replacement for one which I'd worn out!!I have Joint Hypermobility Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, so have pain in my joints, tendons, ligaments, etc. My right hand and wrist are very badly affected and I need to wear a splint during the day to help with pain and joint stability, as my right thumb in particular is prone to dislocate regularly.The only problem I have found with this splint is the thumb splint puts too much pressure on the base of my thumb if it is swollen, but the metal splint is easily removed, and I get enough support without it.The metal palm splint is also removable so the splint can be washed.I received this the day after I placed the order.I have been using this brand of splint for several years now, and haven't found another brand which suits my needs as well.This was good value for money, as I usually pay more in a local pharmacy.I would recommend this splint.

I started with a wrist issue (initially suspected broken) at the beginning of lockdown. At the moment I'm awaiting a specialist appointment and so I was told to use a wrist splint in the mean time and I chose this one. It took a lot of tweaking to get the thumb splint bent in the correct place as it was putting pressure on my actual thumb and cause a lot of discomfort at first. After about 3 weeks the thumb velcro failed, luckily I have just removed the velcro and sewn it together but then the main velcro failed as well and it is now completely useless and needs replacing. I've only had about 8 weeks use from it which I feel is not worth it at all, especially if you are going to have ongoing issues.
