Save on a plumber, no offence !
This enable me to get spares and repair my existing WC inlet for what had worned out. It can be tricky if you cant undo the original or get tank off the wall to install the whole thing. So carefully dismantle both, this comes apart in several ways and then you have the parts to replace in the existing one, and hey presto working as new again. Saved a fortune on a plumber really so well chuffed !

For a compact toilet.....
Needed the above float valve to replaced the used one that an emergency plumber used when we had a pipe leak. He replaced one like the above with a completely different make, so getting a replacement washer was a chore for the float arm, when I have loads for the SIAMP one (the float arm washers tend to have a life of about 3 years before wearing out causing the toilet cistern to overflow).Nice concise instructions, a breeze to install, up and running in half an hour....However, it came in a bag, not a box so the float arm popped out of the clip so it caused it to stick. This is not easy to see, but I clipped it back in and the float worked, switching the water off to the system, so no overflow.Tools needed:Towel and sponge to soak up any waterScrewdriver to turn off the water supply to the cistern (all toilets should have a stop valve)Adjustable spanner or gripsAnd that's about it.Does the job for these bottom fill compact cisterns.
