FastCap Pliers Macro Flush Cut Trimmers - Perfect for Carpentry and Woodworking - 80487

I bought these for a DIY dollhouse project. So far I've used them to cut pieces from the plastic fencing, and they are so nice. No extra rough edges that you have to clip away, from either side of the cut. So glad I purchased these. I'm sure they will have lots if use as I work on the doll condo, but the plastic fencing alone made them with the purchase.

I recently did some edge banding for the first time. I knew how it worked, but never did much. In watching videos on the subject, I saw many people recommend these exact cutters and I can see why. These are totally amazing. First of course, they are flush cut, so you can get right up the edge, and make great corners. I used them on 45 degree edges and worked awesome.I found that if I cut the edge close, then I could better see the plywood and make better final flush cuts.Love these, descent price, would gladly recommend.

This works just like you want it too. It actually cuts better then I expected it too. I use this tool to cut edge banding and it works great for that. its good quality tool and fits the hand nicely.

I bought it to try it as we cut tie wraps every day when we do wiring as well as Cat5 wire and Coax. They will cut and shred sheet metal if need be in the attic, but we don't do that very often.The end of the rubber handle started to break off after about 3 months of heavy abuse but the handle doesn't slide off so they are still great. Do not cut Romex wire with them as 12 gauge wire dented the blades and they are now shot. I am buying a replacement because I was surprised how long they took heavy abuse.They are not Greenly Diagonal Cutting Pliers (as those survived a long time) but for flush cuts, these work very well. I use a smaller pair for cutting zip ties off but I thought I’d try this larger style for other things as well. They are very comfortable and easy to use. I’m not totally sold on the strap keeper (these are spring loaded) but it’s not terrible and does make them easier to store. Overall they are excellent quality and work perfectly.

In the past, I had trimmed the ends of my edge banding material using a sharp chisel. That worked OK but took time and much care to get it done nicely. These flush trim cutters work perfectly and result in a quick, easy and accurate flush edge trim. They are very well made and look like they'll last many years. Definitely worth the price!
