Great product!
Pill Pockets are really a life saving product, I don't know what I'd do without them. My cat has just been diagosed with 2 different illnesses and now requires 6 pills a day. He is very difficult to pill manually and we don't want to stress him by doing so. I put the 2 smallest tablets in a gel cap (from the vets) and wrap it in a pill pocket. The larger tablets I put straight in to a pill pocket. Then I put them in his normal food.I find that if I put in his food he doesn't chew them so much - the tablets are very bitter, hence the gel caps. If I give him them as a treat he chews them and sometimes tastes the tablets. He loves the taste of the pill pockets. I've tried without the pill pockets and put the pills within the gel caps in his food - he won't eat them and I've tried wrapping in various other treats - still won't eat them. Pill pockets are the only thing that works. They are expensive, that's the only downside, but at the moment they are invaluable. He's been on his meds for 2 weeks now and not missed any because of the pill pockets. I don't understand in one of the reviews below the reviewer said he can't fit the tablet in the pocket. They are very maleable, like play dough. I'm now managing to flatten them out and mould them around even the largest tablets so I'm using half a pill pocket for each tablets. This still works.

They work!
Miracle! It’s usually impossible to get my cat to take medicine- tried crushing up and hiding in all sorts of food and treats but he’ll never touch it. We were having to wrap him in a towel and force the pills down his throat, traumatic for all of us! With these treats you simply pop the pills in the middle and he gobbles them up immediately. Highly recommended.

Very good but over priced
We have a cat who has epilepsy and it is a total nightmare to give her medicine. She needs to have 1/4 of a tablet 3 times a day. With other cats I can just pop a tablet a the back of the throat rub their neck and blow on their nose to make them swallow, but the cat that really needs the tablets is a total nightmare. We decided to give these a try because at the end of the day she NEEDS to take this medication. The consistency of this product is like a soft putty, you put the pill inside the treat and squash around the edges to enclose the pill. The first time trying I offered it to her and she took it straight away. We couldn’t believe it, it had never been so easy to give her meds. I am currently using these with another cat who is on a weeks course of antibiotics and she is willingly taking them too so they must taste good. The only downside to these is the price, we have managed to extend the longevity of these treats by splitting them up and we use 1 treat per day for all 3 doses as using a whole treat each day when their is only 45 treats in a bag.

Don't bother
Our car didn't like these at all. I added a dreamy to it and she ate it. 1 minute later and she was foaming at the mouth. The ones from Royal Canin are much better and she eats those without any fuss.

Limited success with picky cat.
Very easy to mould around a pill but unfortunately my cat could still detect it. She's very picky and managed to detect and reject it in amongst a dish of other treats and in amongst a dish of empty pill pockets. I had better luck when I buried it in her wet food, but only once. Possibly more suited to greedy cats and dogs!

Amazing, real game changer for any pet owner
I have 3 cats and it is really stressful trying to give them worming pills! I was dubious about buying these because of previous reviews but they are amazing! My cats were unsure at first but after trying a few without the pill they got used to in them and enjoyed them. Real game changer and a must have for any pet owner

Worked brilliantly for our stubborn cat
Had to give our cat some tablets recently for a while & before these pockets it was a complete nightmare - he just spat them out & when I tried mixing with food he worked his way around them - typical cat! (He's not the sort of cat you can hold & put the tablet just in his mouth & work it down - believe me) He ate these pockets as treats happily & then I put a dry treat in each, so that he would get used to that texture, & I also add a few dry treats to the serving as well so he doesn't dwell on the texture. I then putting half tablet in each pocket - still with other dry treats around he wolfs them down - massive relief! They are a bit pricey but I think worth every penny.

Cat was unimpressed and they went to waste
A bit pricey and ultimately ended up untouched on the shelf. The first time I tried giving a couple of these to my cat with the pills inside she took a while to eat them, not very interested at first but eventually she took them. I thought at that point I might be on to a winner making it easier to give her the pills prescribed but she has turned them down every time I have tried afterwards. She sniffs them and walks away, doesn’t even bother trying them. She’s not usually a picky eater but clearly doesn’t like these unfortunately. If they were cheaper it would be OK just to try them but I think they’re pricey for what they are and even more so if your cat doesn’t take to them. Good idea but didn’t work for me and my cat.
