Could this fit the Sony RX100?

I am not sure if I can help you. I have an Olympus Camera with 14-42 & 40-150mm lens and that fits. It is advisable to go straight to the manufacture that sells the product for your question!

No. It may fit the D3500 with a small lens attached but the 70-300mm will be mostly outside the cover due to its size.
