Yes, clean feet and nails first, gently file surface of nail to improve penetration although my nails showed no improvement after 6 weeks daily use. Hope it works for you.

Can you use over nail varnish?

Would not think so because it has to penetrate the nail and your varnish would inhibit that.

Hi please can anyone tell me the phases your nail goes through when using this? I use it on my big toe and the small area is now black is it normal?
