Great product. Easy to customise.
Excellent product. I wasn't sure about buying it after reading a couple of negative reviews elsewhere but opted to take the plunge. I bought two of these kits to create a 14x8 foot shed.It took me a while to buy all the wood needed. I went over the instruction booklet quite a lot and found it easier to use a bright highlighter to isolate the instructions just for my size shed (there are instructions on the one booklet to create three shed sizes).I spent an afternoon measuring and cutting down all the wood to the cutting list at the front of the manual and labelled the wood with a thick marker.I found the design easy to adapt. The door goes on one end according to the plans but I wanted the door in one corner on the longest edge. Plenty of measuring and double checking there. It took me about two full days to put the frame together and to clad most of it with OSB board.I am due to felt it shortly. Very pleased with how solid and easily it went together. I would recommend two people perhaps but managed it on my own with the exception of the three long roof joists which fitted into the brackets.Feather board to finish off the shed. 👍

Its a good product.
I’m writing this review mainly to try dilute all the low star reviews from the brain dead mouth breathers who thought they were buying an £800 shed with all the trimmings for £80. This is quite obviously a set of brackets. It’s says so several times in the advertising. So my review on the brackets. They work well. They do as they are supposed to. Obviously you need some basic diy skills to build a shed. So if you have the skills you can turn this kit into a nice shed. The instructions are pretty poor. But as mentioned you need some skill. Trying to build a shed from scratch with no skills is a pretty bad idea anyway. So if you need to rely on instructions. This probably isn’t the project for you.I swapped my brackets around to alter the angles of my roof. I didn’t want it too high. I built mine 8ft by 8ft as this made more sense to me as the sheet wood for the base and roof comes in 8ft by 4ft sheets. It’s also 8ft tall in the centre. I made my door 6ft by 3ft. Because I didn’t want to have to duck to get in the shed.I priced up full sheds and a 7ft by 7ft in the same design as mine started at £550 but built out of 1” square frame, and very thin cladding. It had lots of bad reviews regarding the quality too. The closest I could find was a 8ft by 7ft that was quite sturdy. But not as big, and the material was still thinner. That was £1200. My shed came in at £600 in total. Including all the timber, the brackets, roof felt, screws, hinges, bolts and the drainage. All timber came from a local wood yard. The drainage, screws and roof felt from wicks. So about half the price of the closest I could find to compare. I’m very happy with the results and the kit. I just need to finish the rest of the garden to match the shed. All prices mentioned were correct as of May 2024

Useful piece of kit
I used this for building an L-shaped childrens playhouse, adapting the instructions. It generally works well and makes construction easier than having to make mitred joints. However, the plates for joining the roof and uprights are not exactly mirror-image symmetrical, so I suggest fixing the plates only on one side of each upright and truss, then placing the roof apex and eaves timbers, and only then adding the plates on the reverse side of each joint. If you follow the written instructions and place all the plates before assembly, the apex and eaves will not align. Also, be aware that the plates have very sharp edges. Handle only with gloves, or be prepared to file down the edges to make them safe.

Wood not included
I waited a week for the rest of the order to arrive but then only realised when I read the description that this was only the metal joints and not a complete shed. Very disappointed and so will return the item. I didn’t even open the box.

Just what was needed to build a greenhouse from scratch
These metal roof brackets were just the job when my husband built our green house. He knew what he was going to do to build from scratch without a planned kit. A lucky find.
