Do you have to empty the sachet into the pond or does the sachet dissolve?

Used it many times over the years with good results. Just take out a sachet from the packet and put the complete sachet in your pond - no need to open the sachet. The sachet is water soluble and slowly dissolves and disappears. The weed “disappears” gradually too. After a few weeks I clean out my pond pump and filter and the water is very clear.
