Great buy!
Excellent, easy to use and does the work and proves better than the rest. Lightweight with great additions for all the extra cleaning bits. Well worth the price.. a great difference from all the ones I’ve tried in the past.

Dog parents won’t be disappointed!
A very powerful vacuum cleaner. Bought to replace my old machine. We have a black Labrador and this vacuum easily takes care of all areas. Much heavier than I expected, but it’s a good solid vacuum cleaner. If you have pets in your home, I can highly recommend this Dyson Animal. Useful tools included, and easy to use and empty.

Heavy but amazing
So, I've had an earlier model of the dyson animal ball about 10 years ago and loved it for the reason that most people don't love it - its heavy! The combination of it's weight and the awesome suction means it gets stuck on my carpets and is a real effort to move it . . . For me, this feels amazing as I know it's sucking out everything it needs to which makes me so happy!I've had 2 popular aternatives since (trying to get a cheaper option) but neither came close to the suction of the dyson. It's worth the investment.Regarding the weight, I'm a slight build & middle aged, and I do feel like I've done a bit if a work.out just hoovering my whole house, particularly lugging it up & down the stairs, but I can imagine that if you had any health issues with mobility or weakness such as arthritis, it may not be the right choice for you.My other vacuum cleaners didnt ever seem to pick up any fine dust (just fluffy debris) but this one has a thick layer of powdery dust in the tank after every use, it's really gets the fine stuff out of the carpets & rugs, which I think is great if you have allergies/asthma especially. The cord is really long so I can even plug it in the hallway and hoover my upstairs, and the flexi pipe has a decent stretch too.I notice that using the 'hard floor setting' on carpets rather than the 'pile setting' seems to make it adhere more to the carpet, making it harder to move but I assume sucks out more debris. So, all in all, providing you are happy to wrestle with your vacuum a little (which I so am) then this is an awesome choice for peace of mind of knowing the carpets are free of nasties. Makes them look fresh & new too as it re-fluffs up the pile. I've discovered the joy of hoovering again.

Good suction
A really good hoover although would have been better if more comprehensive instructions included in box. Even downloaded instructions were not as clear as they could be. There appered to be a tool holder missing but I contacted both the company and amazon without being able to resolve the problem. As it just meant that one tool culd not be stored on machine I let it pass but that is the reason for the 4 * rating.

Exceeded Expectations – A Truly Impressive
I’ve tried many vacuum cleaners, but this one stands out. From the moment I opened the box, I could see the quality and care that went into making it. Its design is well-built, easy to assemble, and super user-friendly, making it a high-end product. What impressed me is how simple it is to use. The vacuum worked perfectly, making my daily cleaning routine so much smoother. It also arrived quickly and was packed well. After using it, I can honestly say this vacuum lives up to its promises. The suction power is fantastic, and compared to my old vacuum, this one is much lighter. Moving around while cleaning is easy, and I don’t feel like dragging something heavy with me.

New electric Dyson against battery operated Dyson 8
Very good cleaning as I have a dog and 2 cats. I find the Dyson 8 battery length is too short . For a full house. Clean. And not quite as good picking up the fur. That s why I prefer the Dyson animal with electric. Cord. Other problems with the Dyson battery run 8. Is you can’t adjust the length. Of the pipe. The only. Problem I have with the new. Hoover I have just bought is the spinning. Tool keeps breaking at a weak point at the back of the tool

Ok hoover feels a bit flimsy
Had to change our old Shark hoover and went for this as it was a good price.I a nutshell it's ok it hoover the floors well but no where near as good as the shark in terms of build and practicality. The Dyson feels an effort to release the pole and this was streamless on the shark. The build feels a bit basic and moving it around is bulky and the the head always flops down when going from room to room.I gave it 3 stars as it still hoovers well but feel this will only last 2-3 years before the wear and tear parts excluded from warranty as always go wrong.I would not pay anymore than £179 for it personally never worth it go for a shark
