I love this chopper! Blades are sharp makes dicing and cutting vegetables for salads quick and easy. Very durable and easy to use and clean. The different size blades are easy to change out. It holds a nice amount of chopped vegetables. Came with 6 different attachments. Great value for the money. Would definitely recommend.

Great chopper! I hate cutting onions so i use it mainly to slice or chop them and it saves me a ton of time. Comes with brushes to help clean the blades. Can be annoying to clean it up but it’s worth it to me as it saves me from cutting onions.

I just prepped 3/4 lb baby carrots and a large red onion in under 4 minutes, and that includes peeling the onion and rough chopping into quarters. Took me less than 2 minutes to clean. Only other thing I used was a knife to cut the onion. Simple to use (although for harder things like carrots you'll need to hit it or have enough muscle to squeeze it down, but I was doing 4 baby carrots at a time). Changing blades couldn't be easier. Clean up is a breeze with the tools provided. No muss, no fuss, no cutting board or 20 minutes of cutting. And I can store the veggies in the container until needed. Fullstar also has covers for the catch bowl and I think I'll purchase them in the future. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 is one, I can't give 4.5 stars. Second, it's a shame that it doesn't come with a slicing blade, like if you want to slice celery or thin strips of apple or sweet potato for drying or potato for au gratan potatos. The egg slicer will only reliably slice soft things like an egg or a ripe avocado. Had it come with that slicing blade, the review would have been 5.

I love this mandolin! The safety guard is a game changer — I no longer have to worry about accidentally cutting my fingers while slicing. The blades are sharp and work so well for everything from veggies to fruits, and it’s easy to adjust the thickness. The design is compact and easy to store. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a safer and more efficient way to slice! You definitely will get your moneys worth in this product.

I am never going back to chopping onions without this gadget. It's super easy to chop with, helps you get some aggression out because you're likely bashing the lid down hahah! I haven't used all of the different inserts, but I can safelt say the sharp ones are SHARP. Careful when handling them! Worth the money and overall a great kitchen gadget.

We had to chop pounds and pounds of onions to help make vats of soup for a soup sale. My husband thought I was nuts for volunteering us for this job but that is because he did not know what I knew, which was that I'd seen this chopper recommended on several cooking videos and was just looking for a reason to purchase it for our home and this was just the reason I needed! The chopper arrived quickly, as promised, and as fast as I peeled the onions, he chopped them! In fact, he had to wait for me to finish peeling the onion a few times. He really LOVES using this chopper and now looks for recipes that call for chopped vegetables and fruits. He has taken over the cooking the last few years now that I am not well and for the first time, he is smiling as he preps the foods....guys and their gadgets, huh? This chopper does all sorts of chopping, dicing and slicing in various sizes and shapes and does it very well. Clean up is easy, too, because it can be put in dishwasher. Of course, the reason it does such a great job is because the blades are precise and sharp so be smart and be careful when using this chopper to ensure that you are only chopping food and not your fingers! We are both very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.

This performance as described. I mostly use it for onions. The reviews that state it's hard to use or take apart or someone defective are not tethered in reality and probably shouldn't operate cars, let alone a sharp kitchen gadget. Seriously. It's the simplest of devices.I will say USE caution when using them because they ARE very sharp. But the little brush and "poker outter" comb thing is very helpful.Just get one. It makes chopping veggies less of a chore and you can really take out the day's frustrations when you whack down on the lid (but not too hard, it is a brittle plastic) 😂

I had one of these years ago when they were first selling them on TV and they were much less sturdy. This one is very well built. Its biggest problem is trying to be everything for everybody. I tried to use the egg and soft food slicer to slice a button mushroom, which it should have been able to do. Unfortunately, when I pressed the wires down on the mushroom, the slicer came apart at the hinge and did not want to be put back together. I've had $.99 slicers do better. A much better solution would be an insert with blades for slicing like the ones for dicing.The mandolin addition is interesting, especially with the juliene and grating inserts. As for the juicer, it makes storage bulky and really doesn't belong with this unit. People who use juicers don't do it by hand anymore.Overall, the unit is worth the money. The storage tray is nice and keeps the blade units and accessories well organized. Unfortunately, there is not a way to keep the main unit, the mandolin top and the storage tray all together so that they take up less shelf space. As a result, they end up being side by side, needing about 12 inches total.UPDATE: if a company read my review and decided that I was having too many problems with the machine. They emailed me very very politely apologizing for my problems and thanking me for my insight and offered me a complete refund without even asking for the machine to be returned. I was astonished. I have never had a company do anything like that. I think this shows just how much they do care about their customers which unfortunately is unusual in today's market. I think if you will stay with the basic version of the item and not try to get something that's going to do everything you'll be very happy with it and have a beautiful functional item for your kitchen.
