I bought this a while ago but let me tell you and I’m really not one to write a review, ever. However, I felt the sudden need to just say this is the BEST invention AND investment. I live with a roommate with a small child. When I first moved in, they would barge into my room every single day. I don’t have a lock on my door so this is why he was able to come in and out as he wanted to. I was at a point where I felt uncomfortable that my child and I couldn’t sleep as he would run in at 6am to play with my child, he would run in when I would be changing, etc. They don’t ever listen to their mom when she tells them to stop. The very first day I bought this, they ran into the door. Hard. The door stopper did its job, IMMEDIATELY. I have this on my door every day since then and they will try to push the door open with their body weight, jiggle my door knob to attempt to open my door but is unsuccessful every single time. I HIGHLY recommend this product to everyone.

Great gift for piece of mind. Now that we have this on the door we sleep a little better. Not that we live in a bad neighborhood , its just good for extra security. Not expensive and the grip works great on our tile floor. The size is perfect for different size door and have options to make is shorter or longer.

Bought this because of reviews. Very sturdy and seems like a great value considering my safety! But have to say it hasn’t been tested!! I did try it but not with extreme force, so I think it would really deter someone trying to break in!!! I need to buy 2 more for other doors.

The security bar is easy to assemble and is lightweight but seems strong enough. It doesn't keep my door as tightly closed as I would like, though so far my own test efforts have failed to dislodge it by going outside and pushing against the door. The bar might be more securely held were the floor to be wood or tile, but this room is carpeted. I find it tends to wobble just a bit once put in place and grasped as a test. Other buyers might have different findings.

i have never felt safer. no matter your living situation, living alone, with family, or roommates, it is always a good idea to have an extra sense of security. great for doors and windows! The grip is very sturdy, i believe the price point is great, and takes 2 seconds to do every night.

I was sceptical at first because for some reason the bad reviews stick better than the good. Well I'm glad I got these because I just moved to a new house in the woods and I didn't feel 100 percent safe. My son and I tried these out tonight and I was surprised as heck!! Someone would have to body the door more than once to get it open and by that time I will be able to call the police and be armed! Would definitely buy again!

Worked well for us. We have a patio door lock whose lock is broken but not easily replaceable (long story). This has worked perfectly for our situation and has given me peace of mind that my doors are secured.
