I was definitely skeptical when buying this tail because it looked a bit like the other cheap knock offs on here, but I was actually surprised by its quality. The material is similar to the FinFun tails and the print quality is actually good. I will say, according to the tracking, the tail skin did ship out from “CN”, which I believe is China. But when I bought the vinyl insert, it shipped from the US, so where yours comes from can vary. Something to keep in mind for sustainability. But overall, it’s a decent tail if you’re mermaiding on a budget, but I would not buy one again because I personally avoid buying things internationally for sustainability reasons. **For those who want to fill out the whole fluke, you have to buy the vinyl insert on the Foloeo website.**

This is a very high quality tail for the price point. It has a zipper to insert your own monofin, it fits perfectly, the color is bright, the material is sturdy, and it is very easy to use if you have researched tail skins and how they work. It is a thicker material than my last skin which was $40 and I can see it lasting a couple summers with the proper care. The side fins are very stable and move through the water beautifully. It has a stretch waistband so it is comfortable but not loose on my body. I highly recommend this to anyone as a starter tail skin. I feel like a real mermaid! Works great with a mermaid linden monofin!

Important: support plate to fill out tail not sold on Amazon, must be bought on Foleo website. That being said, it was very easy to find and fit the tail perfectly.Pros: fits mostly true to size chart and well made. Vinyl insert was very easy to use with my Linden fin. Good quality fabric that is on par with my mertailor and finfolk tails. Seams are strong and straight, fabric is four way stretch. It's also a longer tail and pretty good length for us tall mers! Fluke is large and moves beautifuly in the water! For reference in the fluke picture, I'm 5'9"! Hip flukes are placed well and look really nice when worn.Cons: vinyl plate had to be bought separately off the Foleo website which meant I had to pay shipping on top of purchase price. Colors of actual tail not as saturated as Amazon picture. (Last picture in review is what was posted on Amazon.) Tail circumference is slightly narrower than expected, if you have large hips, definitely size up. I'd prefer the tail to be a few inches longer. If you have the vinyl plate inserted, the waistband hits your right at the hip bones and if you have a tummy it's just slightly too short. You need to remember to adjust it for pictures. The zipper itself is good quality but I wish they made the insert for the fin a few inches longer. It's just short enough to make it a bit tough to get the plate put in easily.Overall impression: very good for the price point and a good quality tail if you want some variety or to try a bigger fluke without sinking a crazy amount of money into a design. I especially love that it can be used very easily with my Linden fin.

The media could not be loaded. This tail won me first place for the costume contest at my communities annual pirate party! It is absolutely stunning. The tail is exactly how it is described in the listing. (It doesn't come with a support plate. You have to buy the support and the monofin separately. They make that VERY clear and all y'all need to work on reading comprehension.)Since I was mainly using it for the party instead of swimming, it got slapped on concrete for most of the night (about two hours) and has a significant amount of pilling because of that but I'm not surprised and I'm still thrilled with the quality. I'm sure it wouldn't be noticable in the water or from a few feet away on land.Please keep in mind that this, or any mermaid tail, is not a toy. It was very hard to swim in, especially with the vinyl insert (that must be purchased separately). I'd recommend swimming with just a monofin before adding the tail and not trying to swim with the vinyl insert until you're really comfortable with it. Our number one rule here is 'No Dead Mermaids".Also, they DO sell the insert here on Amazon. I couldn't find it at first so I bought it directly from their website and wasted $20 on shipping. Get it here instead if you have Prime.

This is my first tail, and I absolutely love it, I love the huge fin and the little fins on the side, it is extremely soft and comfortable I am very pleased with it and I love the color and the size fits great

I’m disappointed, the tail is so beautiful but when I wear it it goes all the way up to my neck, it’s so long, I cannot use it, I’m 5’4 110lbs, I got a size SI gave it to my husband, he’s a merman too, it looks great on him, he’s 5’10

I loved this tail! It paired perfectly with my monofin (no brand) and it fit just fine! The fabric quality was actually super nice, very sturdily made, easy to wear and use, and great to swim in BUT it got decently heavy when it got soaked so watch for that!
