This knife is amazing quality and my husband was super impressed with the weight, sharpness and craftsmanship that went into making this! He loves it.

My knife when it arrived looked fantastic.The grains of the steel were incredibly appealing to the eye, I even got many complements on it as well.I was so excited to use it for my 6 week backpacking trip throughout the Pacific Northwest.Until the incident.I was carving wood with my knife and then the blade fractured.I mean what are the odds that during the constant never ending battle between knives and wood resulting in the wood being the victor?In short I was hoping To request a new knife from the seller to test the new knife against the wood that conquered and fracturedmy old knife. Bought as a grad gift, and was very well received! Knife was packaged well, with the blade oiled, in a plastic bag, wrapped in bubble wrap, in an appropriate sized box. The damascus design was really nice and etched just right. Basic factory edge was serviceable, though I touched it up prior to gifting. The handle was also beautifully crafted and attached well - clearly we haven't tested it through time, but looks to be done right. The thing everyone commented on, though, was the nice file-work on the spine. This is something that they're proud to have and look forward to handing down to future generations.

The knife is well balanced in hand, very nice looking for the price. I only have two issues with the knife I ordered, first one being every pin in the handle has a burr or sharp edge to it. Not enough to cut you but is definitely noticeable. And second, the sheath doesn't hold the knife very well. If it was on your belt with the sheath it probably wouldn't fall out but if I hold the sheath upside down and shake the sheath the knife falls right out. Otherwise I'd give this 5 stars! I'd also like to add that it needs to be sharpened right out of the box! It slightly tears through paper instead of slicing right through the paper.

Beautiful simply a perfect knife .i collect knifes and this knife is hands down the best knife i ever purchased. the fit and finish is almost perfect . the file work on the spine is gorgeous . the blade is world class and the edge geomtry is as good as it gets . it is as sharp as a razor . i actually shaved with it. the sheath is pure sh.. that is the only problem . i would have gladly payed $150+ for that knife

This is a very nicely designed knife. Beautiful blade and handle. The sheathe looks well made. I would give this knife a perfect score except for one one problem for me. The handle could be 1inch longer and an inch to the blade. I wear a large glove so my hands are not overly large. But the knife is not comfortable in my hand. Fits my wife hands perfectly so I may give it to her for our trips up into the hills. Overall it is a beautiful knife.

Great looking knife! Has a fairly sharp edge right out of the box. However, the gut hook is not sharpened at all! And when I say not at all, that's exactly what I mean! It's almost a blunt Edge and was completely incapable of slicing open a deer pelt. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my father-in-law, and the first deer we attempted to field dress with his new knife was not only an absolute failure because of the gut hook, but it was almost dangerous, because as he pulled down on the knife and it did not cut, the knife pulled out of his hand and could have cut him! Highly disappointed about this aspect of the knife!

This was a Christmas gift for my son in law. He collects knives. He absolutely loves this knife. It is a beautiful piece, well made, and looks more expensive than it was. We’re very pleased.
