Killer boots
Love these boots for patrol. Light, comfortable, stay nice. I’m probably going to pick up a darker colored pair to wear hiking. Most boots I wear a 12, but was told to go a little smaller so I got the 11.5 and they fit like a glove. I’d stay true to size or just go down half a size like I did.

Not even shoes are safe anymore
It's official. Everything sucks now. Car parts were the first to decline in quality, then appliances. Now shoes.I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on Merrel footwear. 8 inch side zips, 6 inch laced, riverbed hiking shoes, etc.I paid the price because they were quality. I am rough on shoes, but find thick leather boots like redwings and thorogood unbearably uncomfortable. Merrel towed the line between comfort and toughness.Until now.Within days the glue began to separate between the sole and upper. From day one the waterproofing was mediocre. I cannot stress how disappointing this is. Now I don't know what to buy.A crying shame this is.They're still comfortable, and the price seems to be coming DOWN from when I first started buying them, but the quality just isn't what it used to be.

Waterproof and comfortable for many miles.
Purchased for mail route, approximately 17 miles per day on foot and these are great! Durability seems great. They are comfortable, not too hot and waterproof. Work perfect for the purpose we purchased for.

Excellent qualitu
Very durable hiking shoe boots. Excellent grip in less than ideal trail condemns. Firm ankle support over rocky and tree root terrain. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Merrel is my go to for hiking and casual wear. Very good value. My collection has boots that are 7 tears old and feel and perform like day 1. The lightweight sneaker last about 2-3 years before a foot bed breakdown. That's a good thing.

Bulky, run big. Look nice though.
Shoe seemed bulky compared to my other duty boots I own. They also run large. I ordered my usual size, but they were too big and I had to return.

Incredible!
The media could not be loaded. These boots require no break-in period; from the moment I put them on, I could tell they would be exceptionally comfortable. My only critique lies with the lacing system. While it may be designed to keep the boot secure when tied, the loops make it somewhat challenging to achieve a truly snug fit. It takes a bit of effort to get a firm tightness, but once secured, the fit is outstanding. The boots feel incredible—lightweight and almost like a running shoe with enhanced ankle support.

Very comfortable but defective top eyelet.
These were probably one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I have worn. For the 1 day I was able to wear them. On the second day of use the top eyelet made of plastic broke off when tying the boot. I was surprised this was made of plastic since it is a high stress point as another reviewer pointed out. No option to exchange just return. Since this appears to be an issue with this boot probably best I did not exchange anyway. I expected more for the $150 price tag. What a shame, very, very comfortable.
