Perfect for me, a powerful in-line amplifier
I bought this to replace an older unit that never delivered very much amplification. Can't say that about the Neoteck unit. It has plenty of power delivering increased amplification to my earbuds, through 15 feet of cable, with a very low volume control setting. I use it to amplify the sound from the Samsung TV with the TV volume completely turned down so that I don't disturb my sleeping wife. The unit works perfectly, and the build is quality and very solid. I especially like having a rechargeable battery to save on battery purchases. With a full charge I watched a 3 hour movie and the unit then recharged in a very short period of time. The sound quality is very good with no distortion or feedback. I am very happy with this device.

This is a real amp
I've had three different small amps, one which I had to discontinue use because it would periodically short out and make left ear phone hot. This new one hasn't done that and the sound is great and the DB gain is awesome. Higher gain than any I've tried! Also having the volume control at the side rather than in the middle is great. Price and quality is A+

Not fancy, but does the job
Nothing fancy, but does the job. I use it to connect earbuds to my electric cello. When plugging earbuds into the port in the instrument, the signal is too weak to hear much in the earbuds. The little amp boosted the sound and was small enough to hang from the port. Very simple -- volume control only.

Does the job well. Great portable amplifier but watch that volume dial…
Wonderful! This is a nicely designed headphone amp with enough power to drive headphones. However, check to see what hind of power your headphones need because these could be overkill (it’s not needed to drive earbuds) but may not provide enough power for large power hungry headphones.Positives:- it charges fast with USB-c- it’s simple to operate- the connectors connect with authority. Your jacks won’t accidentally fall out on their own- long battery life- flat design, conducive for stashing in a pocket- doesn’t seem to modify/degrade music clarity- perfect sizeNegatives- somewhat sharp corners, not good for stacking a music player or phone. I put tape on the sharp corners- The biggest negative for me is the volume dial, it is easily moved in a pocket. ANYTHING with a dial that is designed for a pocket should have strong detents so it won’t accidentally turn as it moves around in your pocket. Things like this amplifier should always come with strong detents or a dial “lock” so you don’t accidentally blow out your ears. It has happened to me a few times where the dial turned while in my pocket. It was not fun.

Works well
Works well, easy install. Seems well made, amplifies well. My TV doesn't have Bluetooth but does have fiber audio. Piped fiber into fiber to 3.5mm converter and 3.5mm converter out into this amp and piped amp into Bluetooth transmitter. works perfect.

Glad I got it! Amplifies and increases clarity throughout the range of sound.
Very happy with it. First one didn't work. Was sent a replacement at no cost immediately and return freight paid on defective item. I normally wouldn't try a replacement but price, size, and perks overrode my concerns and I took a replacement rather than a refund. I am very glad I did. This one sits next to my PC so I can't attest to its durability. but it gives me a much cleaner sound through my Bose headset and amplifies adequately to offset the volume issues on some videos. I only needed it for headphones though it works for my speakers it is intended for headphones.. There is no equalizer on the amp, but it still adds quality to my headphones. I will review it after time to let you know how long it lasts.Follow-up. Lasted a year and a half. Fading fast now though. Battery goes dead in an hour. Takes about the same length of time to recharge. I was hoping for more, but it was a good product while it lasted. I will look for something with a little more endurance next though.

Everything you need in a headphone amp for a great price
I got this little amp about 4 months ago and I've been using it with a pair of Logitech G Pro X headphones. When I got them, they were restrained by the output of my phone or the little DAC they came with. I got this amplifier and it has really brought out the potential of these cans. One of the first things I listened to was some Hans Zimmer and the experience was incredible, with the additional volume and depth this amplifier adds. I am not an expert when it comes to this particular niche, but I am a lover of good, loud music and if it's good enough for me, this amp is good enough for 99% of folks out there. The amplifier is about 2/3 the size of your average smartphone, albeit a bit thicker. The case is painted metal; it has spent a bit of time in my backpack and pocket and so far, the finish has held up very well. It has also survived a few drops, it still functions properly and looks no worse for the wear. The knob has a heavy detent when clicking the amplifier on, and rotates smoothly with a confident amount of resistance. The connectors hold the 3.5mm cables in place firmly and have a satisfying snap into place. There is a small switch for going between low and high-level inputs which I have not had the chance to play with. Around the back of the amp is a charging port with a small indicator LED to tell you when it is full or charging. The MicroUSB connector (Sorry, no Type C) isn't showing any signs of fatigue yet and still holds the connector tightly. I am always dubious of stated battery capacity claims, but regardless of the ratings, I'll say I've used it for 6+ hours while flying cross-country and on layovers, without it dying on me. I haven't run it dry in the field yet.My sole complaint is the included 3.5mm cable. It was too small to fit tightly in my other devices and would not work properly unless pressed. This was not an issue for me, though, as I used cables I already had on hand. If you need a cable to connect the amplifier to the source, I would recommend throwing one of those in your cart also.Overall, for the money, this little guy is a great item. When I purchased it, I figured eh, why not? This is gift card money and if it breaks, I'm out $30. I am happy to report that this was not money wasted. If you have a set of headphones you want to unlock more potential from, but don't want to spend big money, the Neoteck is for you.
