Just press the button given at the bottom of the handle and then move handle up or down..

Does this scooter also turn left or right? What is the mechanism for turning?

Yes. Press the board with a foot and tilt the handle (do not twist like bicycle)

How kids can turn srearing to right or left ?

You bend the handle to the right or left direction. It's not that tough for kids, my 3.5 year old daughter doest it easily.
