⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Peak Design nailed it — comfort, function, and sty
As a freelance photographer who's constantly on the move, I've tried a lot of camera straps over the years — most of them either cut into my shoulder after a few hours or look like they were designed in the '90s. The Peak Design Slide strap completely changed that.Pros:✅ Comfortable even with heavier gear. I’ve used it with my Canon R5 + 70-200mm lens for full-day shoots and barely noticed the weight.✅ Quick adjustments. The aluminum quick-pull adjusters are smooth and let me switch from shoulder to sling carry in seconds.✅ Secure attachment. The Anchor Link system is brilliant. Fast to connect/disconnect, yet feels rock solid.✅ Sleek design. Minimalist but premium look — doesn’t scream “camera strap,” which I appreciate.✅ Versatile. Works well with mirrorless or DSLR, and I’ve even used it on binoculars and bags.Cons:⚠️ Slight learning curve with the anchor system at first. Took me a minute to trust it, but now I love it.⚠️ On the pricier side — but honestly, you get what you pay for.Bottom line: If you’re serious about photography and value both form and function, this strap is absolutely worth the investment. It's one of those rare accessories that makes shooting genuinely more enjoyable.

Seems to be very high quality
I have used the PD system on other straps and love the convenience of connecting or removing the strap. Especially when using a big telephoto lens where I prefer to mount to the lens. I've had a bunch of straps and this one seems very comfortable and well made. Good for a full frame camera and a med-larger lens. Slides back and forth really well if you are wearing over one shoulder and your neck. I might consider the smaller one for APS-C or smaller cameras. They aren't cheap but I feel like this was a good purchase.

Quality strap, surprisingly worth the price
I was a little worried about the lack of lush padding, but this strap was excellent to carry my Sony A7IV video rig (pretty heavy, see photo) around during a 3-day music festival. Very sturdy and convenient to unclip/reclip. Although my feet were killing me, the wide width of this strap led to my neck/back/shoulders being fine. Also looks quite stylish in the heather gray. It also came with a number of accessories to ensure it could properly attach to my camera regardless of existing mounting points. It also rained (hard) on day 2 but the strap dried out pretty quickly. I was initially concerned this would be an overpriced strap with a bunch of sponsored, undue hype, but that is not the case.

Better than my Black Rapid strap
I do a lot of bird photography and wander through the woods with my Nikon Z8 and 180-600mm rig worn in sling style over my left shoulder and neck with the camera resting on my right hip. I have used a Black Rapid strap for the last few years but purchased this Peak Design strap after seeing the one my son purchased. This strap is much more comfortable than the BR strap. The BR strap had plastic adjuster clips that were bulky and became uncomfortable as the camera moved around during the course of a hike. Those clips also didn't stay locked and required occasional readjustments to keep the padded part of the strap on your shoulder. The Peak Design strap has re-engineered that problem with flat clips that work and don't come loose, plus the strap is wide from end to end, so it is always in a comfortable position. Also, the PD strap has a unique way it attaches to your camera that I find works much better than the BR strap and makes it easy to remove from the camera when needed. This strap seems to be a great value for the money as the materials and construction all appear to be top of the line. This delivered in beautiful packaging with extra connectors, an attachment plate for your camera if needed, an allen wrench and instructions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this strap to any of my photog friends.

High quality, very versatile for carrying on heavy lenses (also prime-lens off course)
Peak Design Ash Slide Camera Strap SL-AS-3 (Ash).First I want to say I don't use to write reviews but for me this product worth it because the wellness I got after buying and using it.The product arrived very fast to Colombia country and the package came fully sealed and in perfect conditions. Before buying this product I used to feel tired when carrying on heavy lenses and felt very uncomfortable after some hours of walking or hiking because the position of my oldest strap on my shoulder, neck or even my back.I'm amazed with this Peak Design Slide Strap due to many reasons, but especially for these:- the thickness of this strap is perfect for me. It seems very wide when carrying prime lenses, but the feeling is perfect. I prefer this wide strap for walking for hours in the mountain, the camera don't bother you after walking or hiking.- the interchangeable links are perfect and very versatile. You can easily move the strap position according to the situation and the lens/or even flash mounted. As you see in my photos, the long and heavy 70-200 lens fits perfectly in the correct position, on my side, and I can access easily to the camera to shot without removing the strap.- the vertical position to photograph is sooo pleasant now, the right link connected under the camera and the strap will not hinder the shooting, it was fantastic!- for me, quick removing the strap is essential because when I'm photographing I used to lie on the ground or if I am at home I like to use the camera without the strap. Or even if I'm using a tripod for landscape or portrait, the strap often gets in the way to control the camera nimbly, so now I can easily remove and put it on again.- If I remove the strap from the camera, I can connect the strap with itself by using the 4th remaining peak design link (the package included 4 links). It is perfect to avoid the strap falling down from your neck if you disconnect the camera from the links.- The strap bag can be used to store your lens or even the camera. For me, it fitted perfectly with my Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera.- The tripod connector can be moved from the camera to the lens mount easily, and even you can connect it under the camera and mount the tripod plate on your lens support (as you can see in my photos).- when I remove the strap, the links keep the aesthetic of the camera and I can use smoothly.- the adjust for enlarge-shorten of the strap is perfect and you can adjust it quickly. Perfect for walking and taking photos. In general, the product worth the money. Not a cheap product, but you are securing your expensive camera, so the cost-benefit is perfect. Thank you.
