Fantastic entry-level carbon kit was a gift for my granddaughter and she loves it

Got this for my wife she wanted to try it out. The tools are great she love the grit you have with them and the leather bag is also very nice and soft easy to open and close.

Very good find, I've had these tools for quite some time now and they have been great for wood crafts, when I first got them they weren't as sharp, so I took the time to sharpen them and they worked completely fine after. So far, they have lasted a good amount of time for how much wood I've chipped away with them, and let me tell you that this purchase was very worth it, pretty easy to use as well, though you do have to buy softer wood for this, other than that it is an amazing product!

So far this seems like a really solid beginner kit. The knives are comfortable to use and come sharp enough to do the job. No real complaints so far. The only major drawback is that there isn't a single v-knife included in the set. So when you're starting out and trying to get certain lines or cuts it can be pretty frustrating not having a v-knife. So I'll probably be buying a separate set of differently sized v-knives as a complement to this set. That's just something to keep in mind for a beginner or a novice - this feels like a slightly incomplete beginner's kit to me.

I bought this for my 14-yr-old daughter for her woodworking projects. She loves working with her dad on diamond willow projects. This set has allowed her to carve intricate detail. She is currently working on a 4 ft diamond willow floor lamp.

These came fairly dull. I sharpened them and it only lasts a few cuts then back to dull. not high quality and a dull knife is dangerous when whittling. I tried and tried to sharpen them and no luck. great case, poor knives. found some US Made knives which cost more but come sharp and stay sharp. should have done that in the first place, spent a little more now and it would have saved me having these extras i'll never use.
