These are really great. The area where my number plate fits is a honeycomb style, so not completely flat. So it was awkward to use double sided pads. But I wanted the same look, no drill holes no frame around the plate. This was a brilliant option, easy to fit. Plenty of holes to line up with your existing holes or the self tapping screws provided will cut new holes. . End result really neat and really secure. With my new 3D Gel plates safely attached

Used these to fit private plates to a Renault. The front is slightly curved by the holders a flexible enough to accommodate it and still hold the plate securely.The kit comes with 8 self tapping screws to replace your existing and these will also eat in to plastic or metal bodywork to hold everything in place. I added double sided number plate tape to the holder as well as 4 screws in each.I got my plates from Halfords and they dropped straight in with no modifications at all.They fit easily and look really neat and tidy. Maybe a bit pricy for what they are, but they work as advertised.

As described, looks nest and tidy. Perfect screws supplied also, 2nd time buying this set for my other car. Works well with 4d Plates also!

Very smart and discreet plate holders. Easy to fit and use.

I'm not a fan of sticking plates on and my previous holder was too bulky, so this caught my attention as it looks really clean and holds the plates secure. As others have mentioned, depending on your plates you might have to round a few of the corners, I did all 4 with a sander, took a few minutes and fits fine, really pleased with my purchase.

Despite about 300 holes none lined up with my predrilled manufacturer holes so returned. However the plastic looked really cheap and seeing the tags is more annoying than having a normal plate holder. Id get one off ebay as likely cheaper and better quality

These are so close to being fantastic. Very thin border all round (unlike the cage type) and lots of holes to use your existing screw holes.The issue is they don't actually fit standard UK plates (not from BMW anyway) because of the corner radii -- not without either filing down the plate's corners, or what I did, which was to use a heat gun to soften the corners of the mount squaring them off slightly by then pushing outwards with a cylindrical object. Would be 5-stars if this mod wasn't needed.In terms of the width and height though they seem perfect and the plate seems very secure once fully seated; and getting the plate back out would not be easy without using a tool.Another issue is the supplied screws (which you need to use because the heads need to be shallower than normal plate screws) appear to have a very wide self-tapping drill type end, so I was concerned they would bore out the existing plastic threaded holes too much. So I use pliers to squash the self-tapping section in a bit to avoid this.The great thing is with this sort of mount is you don't have those visible screw nubbins potentially obscuring the characters, you don't need to drill your plates, you can easily adjust them to get them perfectly level and are removable without the need to clean up remains of sticky pads from your paintwork.
