Excellent Watch Repair Kit – Did the Job Perfectly!
This kit exceeded my expectations! I used it to fix two of my watches, and it worked like a charm. The tools are well-made, and everything you need is included – from the link remover to extra pins and even a cleaning cloth. The pin pusher and hammer made resizing my metal bands simple and hassle-free.The holder kept the watch steady while I worked, and I was able to get the job done quickly without any damage to the bands. First impression was it looked sort of cheap but then I removed the two links on my new watch .very easily .Then I saw the real value . Didn’t cost much but worked great. Kit also had lots of extra pins and parts.

Too much lateral movement in the plastic screws. Keep looking.
One of my criteria for a watch pin tool is that it be precise. This means it should be possible to align the tool push pin with the pin in the strap and tighten the tool with no lateral movement of the push pin. Although the pins in this tool are made of metal, the screw is not. It's plastic on plastic, and the threads are rather course so there is enough play to move the push pin completely off of the watch strap pin. This is quite likely if a bit of force is required to move the strap pin. I have returned it and with get one where the screw mechanism is fine-threaded metal allowing no lateral movement of the push pin. Note another criterion is that the tool has a platform to raise and lower the strap to align the pins. This does have that feature, but the play in the push pin is too much for my needs.
