The media could not be loaded. I grabbed this Dove Melanin Even Tone Body Wash on a whim. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting anything crazy—I just needed a good body wash that wouldn’t dry out my skin. But this stuff? It actually impressed me.The scent is the first thing I noticed. It’s warm, clean, and feels a little more “grown man” than some of the sweet or floral body washes out there. Not overpowering, but it stays on your skin in a subtle way after a shower.It lathers up really nicely too. You don’t need to use a ton to get that rich, creamy foam. I’ve been using it daily and my skin feels noticeably softer and smoother. I don’t know if it’s the pro-ceramides or whatever’s in it, but my elbows and shoulders aren’t as dry as they used to be.As for the “even tone” claim—can’t say I was expecting miracles, but I have noticed my skin looking more even and healthier overall after a couple of weeks. No weird residue or greasy feel either. LOVE LOVE LOVE as someone with sensitive skin I only used bar soap I only felt that’s the only way I felt clean because body washes never felt clean enough for me.. but this does! This Dove Exfoliating Body Wash is very nice. From the first use, I noticed how soft and smooth my skin felt. It gently exfoliates without being harsh, and the scent is sweet and calming. It’s perfect for melanin-rich skin and doesn’t leave any dryness or residue. I’ve tried many body washes, but this one of the good ones!

I've been using this product around 3 months now, sporadically, and the biggest difference I notice, other than the classic softer, smoother skin all Dove body washes and soap leads to.... Is that my many scars from a long-COVID triggered skin illness I battled for 3, nearly 4 years....? They are rapidly getting smoother, now, too, and some are even fading noticably faster, appearing smaller, on me, than before I started using this body wash.Last month I started pairing it with another- Cerave SA body wash for rough and bumpy skin? (Squirts of each into my loofa, ratio depending on season, so more of Dove than Cerave, as it's a cold, mostly low humidity/dry winter, here, now.) And now, together the results are accelerating all over my body in both tone and the smoothness, softness of former problem areas on my body. It is incredible, as I never had skin problems before recent years like this, I thought I would never feel like myself again. I am finally seeing real returns to having my normal skin back... If I'm not careful, I might cry, it gives me more than hope, now that in time my body will be something actually close to what it used to be, again. And biggest of all?Something I never ever expected to fade -an old surgery scar that was never otherwise going to become less stark in contrast, color, texture....on my breast from a lump removal as far back as 2009...! It is now changing, too! I literally never would have expected that. It hadn't really changed at all, this whole time, since full healing, post-surgery, so 15 years... I just noticed even it is getting less stark, less different in color from my surrounding breasr skin, far smoother in a way closer to that of normal surrounding skin, and even looks shorter and smaller! I am genuinely shocked. I'd had it so long I was long used to feeling like my otherwise nice skin in that part of my body was now permanently made let's say different and unique without anything I ever did, could have prevented or ever consented to... They say you have to forgive your body for these things... It's kind of true, especially in the case of breasts... I had long ago been past that. Now, I want to hug myself ha. I can't believe it. I highly recommend pairly this body wash with the Cerave SA for rough and bumpy skin. I was slowly, but surely seeing results before I paired them, with the Dove? But omg are they really helping me, together. I am so thrilled, wow!

Excellent rose scent moisturizer. I noticed a smoother skin texture immediately. I gave one to my sister and she loved it too.

So far it smells so goooood. The sent is Rich Mango butter. It has little beads in it to exfoliate your skin and make your melanin POP! I can’t wait to use it
