This saucepan is great for making mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and other things that you want to make in a medium size pan. It features two spouts and a strainer in the lid that allows you to pour out liquids without having your food fall into the sink as well. It’s stainless steel and easy to clean. Can be used with induction stoves. 2.5 quarts is perfect for a medium size dish and will last a lifetime. Fair price.

Loved the quality of the saucepans. The glass lids & stay cool handles makes it easier while cooking. The pan bottoms are heavy duty & evenly distributes heat.

Best saucepan I have ever owned! Every aspect of it is so thoughtfully designed, from the 5 layer base - which allows perfect heat distribution - to the lid - which is great for draining pasta without dirtying a strainer. After this experience I plan to replace all my cookware with Avacraft.

This pan is terrific! It is a great size, right between a large pot and a small saucepan. The pan is a lot heavier than I thought it would be. I use it with my induction cooktop. Perfect every time. Great lid with built in strainer. Just perfect!

It is a nice pot with good weight to it. The bonus is that it has dual poring spouts as I'm left handed.

Heavy and durable saucepan

I bought the 1.5, 2.5, and 3.5 saucepans, and it's the perfect set for my needs. I wanted good quality stainless, a pour spout, strainer lids, and a silicone sheath on the lid (so that I don't have to reach for a potholder every time I want to lift the lid).I tried: a) Tramontina, which is excellent quality (almost *too* heavy), but has no pour spouts, no strainers, and the lids get hot; b) Michelangelo, which is affordable but much too light (the small pan would tip when empty, just from its unbalanced handle weight); and c) Concord, which has the pour spouts, strainers, and silicone, but they're too light, the handles are cheap, and the silicone slips off.Thank you, Avacraft, for providing the perfect "Goldilocks" of saucepans, and thank you, Amazon, for letting me order and return three different brands before finally discovering Avacraft.

It’s very nice pot. Heavy duty. I think I will really enjoy cooking in it. I like the lid because it allows you to strain vegetables or whatever you’re cooking. You don’t have to get a separate strainer out. It makes cooking pasta easy and you can see through the glass lid how the food is cooking.
