Noisy but reliable wine fridge
I have read through several reviews online on this unit and other competitive units. If you care about honest reviews, please read on.Short review - A noisy replacement to my 10 year old Wine Enthusiast 24 bottle unit. Please stop complaining that the unit is noisy because you don't understand how refrigeration (compressor) based units work. There are some not-so-smart reviews out there who take videos of this unit complaining about the noise. If your room temperature is going to increase, the fridge needs to fire up the compressor to maintain the temperature you have set. I put mine in the garage because of the noise (problem solved). If you are considering this inside the house and care about noise pollution - this wine fridge is not for you.Long version - I am a proud owner of Wine Enthusiast wine fridge that I bought 10 years ago from another vendor. I love the simplicity and build quality. There was so much negativity these days about customer service (I will get to that as well). 2 weeks ago, my old unit stopped working. I was scrambling to find a replacement. I went back and forth between Wine Enthusiast and New Air especially for the dual temperature zone, capacity and compactness of the unit. This is a compressor based unit and is going to get noisier on hot days.Build quality - Just like my last unit, the interior looks exactly the same. The back has the compressor exposed. That is where the noise comes from.Storage capacity - you can store 32 bottles easily in this fridge. I have a couple of magnums in the bottom.Recommended location - Garage or somewhere you don't mind noise pollution. I had originally kept it indoors and moved it to my garage this past weekend.Customer service - I reached out to Wine Enthusiast for repair options for my old fridge. They were not only responsive (within 24 hours), they shared wine fridge repair technicians near my neighborhood.

Good fridge!!
I have had this wine fridge for YEARS now. A huge difference from the little plug ins that never lasted more than a year or two. The one I received is compressor based and is quiet. We have it sitting on LVP flooring and never hear anything unless I pack it tight then it kicks into high gear for a minute to catch up the temp. This is not a big deal to us and truly it is only for a minute or two. I would not hesitate to purchase another. The side for whites and the side for reds is great. Independent light system and temp controls as well. It also includes a child safety lock, not a big deal for us but maybe for others considering purchasing. Been a great fridge and still loving it.

Does its job well; noisy operation.
The dual-temp wine fridge looks nice, has good rack spacing, and keeps wine at serving temperature whether it is white or red. What I wasn't expecting is how gurgly it sounds when it is actively trying to cool. We've gotten used to it as somewhat of a white noise in the home now, but when people encounter it for the first time it definitely draws attention. When it isn't actively cooling, the fridge is pretty silent. The interior light helps when selecting the right bottle and provides a nice backdrop for those bottle in the "presentation" rack towards the bottom.

A great buy for the money. IT is as good as I was hoping.
I believe for the money this cooler is spot on. Love it for its size and the fact that it has duel zone cooling. It looks good standing alone although one could build it into a cabinet. The temp range does vary 3-4 degrees however I suspect it has to do with cycling on and off. The chrome racks hold the wine and can be rolled out easily to view what you have available. For the money it seems well built. Very quiet! Highly recommend this beverage cooler especially for wine.

Electrical buzzing
Very disappointed with this wine fridge. While the compressor is working has a very annoying electric buzzing that starts when you least expect and keeps for a few seconds, randomly. I tried to contact Wine Enthusiast right after I bought the fridge and the only response I ever received from them was one email with a video that had no sound saying that this is the normal operating sound. After that I send multiple emails, never received a response to them. Now I have a wine fridge that I cannot use, due to that electrical buzzing that sounds very unsafe.I would give 0 stars to this product if I could

6 months and noise noise noise
I've had the fridge for about 6 months. I really love the look of the outdoor which has a slightly mirrored effect. And I love the dual-zone temperature and the display rack on the bottom for 3 bottles. However, the machine has started to get noisier and noisier with each passing month. The fridge itself turns itself on and off about ever couple of minutes. So it is cycling on and off frequently. Every time it cycles, there is a click and throughout the cycle, there is a constant rattle sound with an occasional buzz-zap sound. When I first heard the buzz sound, I called the manufacturer and they told me it was normal. They even sent me a sound clip of the sound they had previously recorded as normal. But it is pretty obnoxious honestly. I like the fridge but I have low confidence that it will last based on the sounds it is making. And the sounds are so annoying that I might get rid of it anyway.

fine dual zone wine fridge
This is a fine looking wine fridge. Its temperature controls with two zones work fine within a degree or two. Noise is very low and infrequent. I am keeping it in my living room. The shelf space may be a little tight for non-standard thick bottles. If there many of these, one of the shelfs may be removed reducing the total number of bottles; however, I haven't need to do this so far.
